Happens to me every 3-6 months. Time to switch your exercise routine. Your body has adjusted to it and is too efficient. You need to make it work hard again. DO so and you'll be fine. :drinker:

Remember, you are losing weight all over your body - from face to toe. You can't lose for a particular area. So, depending on your size and the amount lost, I would say you'll notice after a 10% frop in weight. That to me is where size changes occur. Keep up the great work!:flowerforyou:

I agree with laura11248 I quit a job that I was putting in way too much overtime because the expectations were unrealistic. I did not have a job lined up. It took me 6 months to find a position. I applied for 120 jobs, got over 40 1st interviews, 20 2nd interviews...I was told 12 times that I finished second (could be a…

Even though people say total calories for the day is what matters, studies find that if people have their biggest calories for breakfast, then next size for lunch and smaller for dinner, you lose faster. You are burning your biggest meal throughout the day and have your smallest when you go to sleep. Most people have…

I find that once in a while I get hungry that means I'm about to lose weight so I am better off holding off. Keep up with the 8+ glasses of water and it'll all work out.:drinker:

If you just started, give your body a chance to adjust. Its holding more to cover your calories/water your burning. After a week you should be good.

Change your exercise routine. Your body can get used to the regular routine and cut the calories it is burning. 5 weeks seems a little early to me for this plateauing to be happening but I know for my own body I plateau at 7-8 weeks. It probably varies between people.

Just remember - you get what you paid for. I bought an eliptical machine a few years back. Got myself into great shape. Pushed the machine to its max and boom - it died. This happened again. The repair costs were 1/2 the machine. If your thinking long term use then get a better machine.

Depends on the pain. Whenever you push your body's limits there will be "pain" afterwards. The more the pain the more your body wasn't ready for it. When you start an exercise program, there is always soreness afterwards but when that soreness occurs is what you should be worried about. In my experience of pain, 1.…

Running is not good. You use your arms, shoulders, everything. If you don't feel pain from all the impact jogging provides:huh: , then you need a professional Athletic therapist. Don't mess around with 2nd, 3rd hand info. Be smart about it. That's if your serious about getting better and fitter.

3 days a week is good with the extra day off - day 7. Doesn't matter what cycle you use but its a great start! M-W-F or T-Th-Sat . Looks like you like the weekends off so M-W-F would be best. On the off days to rest your legs, do some upper body workouts. Keep it up! :flowerforyou:

DEFINITELY! But it is better for all of us. Take care. Cheers :drinker:

I know back pain - all too well:sick: 20 years of it off and on:mad: - even been hospitalized for it. I've committed myself to lose weight and keep it off. I myself do not use chiropractors. I've tried 3 times and its never done me any good:angry: . Go to a doctor, ask for a physiotherapist - they are much better. If you…
