  • Well I probably won't be making my miles as I am currently laid up with a low grade fever and possibly strep throat. I'll be back at it for the new month when I'm recovered!
  • Glad you got away from him, that did not sound like a healthy relationship. Good job for you!

  • I just remind myself that the weight didn't pile on overnight, it will take more time than I'd like but the reward is accomplishing something I never believed I could until 5 months ago.
  • I am down almost 50 pounds and I still haven't adjusted either. Sometimes I'm like damn I'm skinny... and other days I just see how much farther I've got to go.
  • An old friend commented "holy balls, lookin good" on a recent facebook picture of myself. It was a compliment I NEVER expected to get. Totally made my morning after being up every few hours taking care of my sick little!
  • I just replaced my stress eating with exercise or using yoga to relax and lessen stress/anxiety.
  • Maybe it's because it was cold but I ran 4.2 miles in 42 minutes at a 6.1 mph pace. That is way faster than I normally do! It also might have been because I was excited to get back to it since a migraine set me back like 5 days.
  • I have a hard time seeing the loss unless I take pictures.

  • Double post but I would also be very interested in another challenge!
  • SW 175.4 GW 165 W1: 175.0 W2: 171.8 W3: 170.8 W4: 168.6 W5: 167.6 W6: 166.6 Loss of 1 lb this week which is great considering all the stress I was under last week and unable to exercise due to an awful migraine! I'm just 1.6 lbs from my goal for the New Year! It also happens to be my 50 lb loss goal since my starting point!
  • I'm not married but my weight loss has made me realize that I have been struggling in my current relationship because I'm not used to a healthy dynamic. It has prompted me to resume therapy because I have a lot to work through which was easier to mask by eating.
  • I'm obsessed with full body selfies now. Lol
  • I'm 5'1 I started around 215 lbs and I'm now at 167.6 lbs. I have mainly just been using cardio but for the new year I want to start strength training. I eat around 1800 before exercise. Since I exercise 5-6 times a week I usually eat more.
  • Forgot to say that I started around 190 lbs when running and I'm now down to 167.6 at 5'1 My starting weight was actually 215 so it took me a bit to feel confident that I could run. I still run slow!
  • I order 2 L shirts from hottopic because they had a $10 tee sale. I figured they wouldn't fit right away but a few more lbs and I'd be good. I tried them on and they fit!!!! So excited!!!!
  • Well I started with 100 to lose, I'm almost to 50 lbs gone. I have never ran before I started couch to 5k. I started walking the beginning of August and then around the beginning of September I began c25k. I completed my first 5k in November. I ran the whole thing in 45 minutes. It was a huge accomplishment for me.…
  • Thank you! It's the first time I've had a huge one. I miss my running!
  • Well an unexpected migraine as set me back two running days. But I'll be back when I'm healed.
  • I like knowing how many calories I'm eating versus points. I have a friend who switched from MFP to WW. I didn't really understand why because she was having success here. She still posts her foods on social media and it seems like she doesnt eat much, but i cant really know that unless i was with her 24/7. For myself…
  • A filter for your tap will help save money. You can also buy a pitcher that filters water.
  • Don't ever be afraid to go slower. I started at like 3.5 mph now I range from 3.7-3.9. Still slow but I'm getting there!
