Your exercise calories could be off too. I NEVER lose if I eat them all back...i usually eat back 20% because of how notoriously awful MFP is, and because then I give myself a buffer zone. Also, if you don't have your activity level set to "sedentary" then you shouldn't eat back your steps at all. I wouldn't do that…

Second this! Find the Fitness Blender youtube channel. They have EXCELLENT videos. Very accessible. Just have a good work-out mat, and you don't need any other equipment for about half of their videos. If you get a pair of weights you can do another bunch of their videos.

of course, if you like! i personally avoid them, and go for things like cauliflower-fennel soup instead of potato-leek soup, or baked squash (half the calories per weight, and i love the flavors of different squashes). but that's just because i like to stuff myself and go for lower calories per volume of food.
