I used to be an insomniac as well - but once I started hitting the gym regularly I fall asleep pretty quickly now. I noticed when I took a few weeks off from the gym it was a problem again, so apparently getting your workout on helps!

I have noticed the same thing. Since losing the weight men treat me better and women treat me worse. Simple and sad as that.

I feel your pain! but it does get better! I have been drinking TONS of water a day for over a year now and my body/or bladder? has adjusted accordingly. Keep on drinking that water!

It took me FOREVER to get through sizes as well! My first 30, 50 and 60 lbs didn't change my clothes size much...it will happen! don't get too discouraged, CONGRATS to on your success thus far!

I started at 263 (or heavier, who knows!) and was a size 20/22 pant - XXL shirt/24 shirt and I am now a size 10 pant and medium shirt at 160 lbs and I am 5'5.

I've planned my day (if not the whole week) ahead of time since I began doing this in January 2010. Otherwise I would be lost!!

I've never been into protein shakes...but I aim for 100g a day as well. For breakfast I have either eggs (2, hard boiled) or chicken sausage. For lunch I often have a chicken breast over salad and for dinner I try to get in at least 30g through ground turkey, chicken breast, steak or shrimp.

It's been about 16 months for me and I still have to convince myself to get started. Though when I don't workout I do miss the endorphins and immediately notice a difference in my mood. I always have to tell myself "nobody regrets a workout after it's done"
