Dec. 18/13 -- 4 mile run and 3 mile walk = 7 miles 152 miles - 7 miles = 145 miles remaining Yeah!! Over half way there. I initially put in 300 miles for the December challenge. But I may have overestimated my ability to complete my selected mileage given the weather in December. But I will keep chipping away at it and see…

Dec 17/13 -- 5 mile run (in the snow) plus 3 mile walk = 8 miles total 160 miles - 8 miles = 152 miles to go.

Count me in...I'm aiming for 300 miles I'll have to guesstimate my walk mileage. I'll be conservative. So for today, Dec 1st -- biked 40km ( = 25 miles) & 10 mile dog walk = 35 miles 265 to go. :happy:

To date, I've done 5 Halfs and other numerous LD races. My workout routine besides running includes biking and resistance training. I also do a heck of an amount of walking as I have a 3 year old black Lab.

Unless its a torrential downpour before I start, I run in the rain. If the rain starts while I am running, then I just continue on and finish my pre-run distance. Running in the rain is refreshing as it helps keep the body cool.
