It helps me if I set myself a goal and time period. But be realistic though, make it something you really want to do/have. You could also start a challenge on MFP in a group or something, a sort of pact to stay on track.

Hey there! Might need your opinion on this one. Easter is coming! And this year my "in laws" have decided to go to restaurant for the usual Easter brunch. I have family members and friends who are quick to point out "OH, winter hasn't been kind to you", "You are getting a bit round there" or even "Stopped going to the gym, eh?". I got myself a fitbit one a couple of weeks back and I love it! It be worth getting even before you get to Phase 4, just so that you can compare :) The sleep mode too, is a big eye opener. It shows you how many times you wake up or are restless in a night. Overall, I'm not nearly sleeping enough. I hope that you gals can…

I hope that you've been feeling better? Self care is a hard thing but I guess making it habit is what people need to do more. Had you gone through all the Phases of IP when you stopped last summer?

You could always print out the past weeks of your food diary on here. And then compare to your undereating period. You need to maybe write her a letter and leave it with the print out. Though I agree with your father on simply learning the proportions. Or else, you'll just make yourself stressed when a food scale isn't…

My weight loss since mid januray has been about 23lbs so far with 10-15lbs to go. After that, I want to join a boxing gym (3x week + walks/runs) so I'll need to be very deligent when logging in my food and keeping on track. I'm always up to getting new IP Friends :) You can add me if you want.
