I'd keep using a contraceptive until you see your gynaecologist just to be sure you don't get pregnant. My plan is cardio, weights and yoga. I have various injuries that are limiting me but I have seen improvements over the past 6 weeks of activity. Where before I was practically sedentary I now try to do about an hour of…

I try to do 40 minutes for 5 days a week. I would like to do more but am building up to it due to injuries and chronic pain issues. I don't find it boring at all. As long as I have some good music to rock out to I'm happy.

I start talking myself away from the binge Friday morning and keep going until I am over the first hurdle; Friday nights are the worst for me, followed closely by Saturday! The drum beat of take-away food calls. If I can get it into my consciousness that I actually feel better when I eat a healthy home-cooked moderate…

£2.50 for a small loaf sounds about right for a gouging - considering that they are removing a substance not adding one ;)

Sleep is a disaster! It would be nice to go to sleep and stay asleep the whole night through but even though I have my own room and sleep alone with just a sheet or thin blanket and have a fan blowing I wake up constantly throughout the night to drink water, urinate, and am overheated. Not to mention the weird dreams and…

Cutting out wheat -I've tried that…

Thanks for the welcome all :) cnmince I could definitely use something for my brain functioning. I wonder if I don't have early on-set dementia! When I asked my Dr about it she just laughed and said it was probably medication side-effect or menopause symptom. But I don't know, calling your cats 'fish' and not batting an…

Hi Sabine, Thanks for the welcome. I'm still menstruating, erratically but fairly consistently. I use evening primrose oil tablets for breast cysts and it really helps, and I take a quarter to a half of a xanax for a couple of nights when things are really bad. Other than that, I can't think of anything that helps…

I know the feeling - commiserations. I use heat bags on specific areas and I lie on an electric blanket. I also take over the counter pain killers and rub liniment into sore areas. Doing a warm up before you set out, might help. I usually find that after ten minutes of walking or light exercise most of the aches and pains…

Hello Liz, and everyone (I'm new too). It sounds like you've been through the wars, I hope things improve for you. I haven't lost any weight but did lose some centimetres around the waist - which I then found had migrated to my hips!
