  • I exercise to eat too. MFP says I can have 1710 calories for the day and depending on the day I will be hungry at the end, so I do 30 min on the elliptical and can have 400 more calories and feel like I'm not starving by the end of the day. Actually I normally only eat part of them back, but knowing I can if I'm still…
  • Talk to a couple tattoo artists and tell them the three things you love. e.g.. puppys, fast cars, and chocolate ice cream and see what they come up with. They are artists. Me I failed at stick men and not an artistic bone in my body, so I tell the artist what I'm thinking and he draws a picture to see if I like it. Edit:…
  • A full sleeve with dragons and butterflies. The is nothing as sexy as a girl with colourful tats.
  • Getting out of bed in the morning can be hazardous. I always where headphones, but then I don't care for a helmet on my motorcycle either.
  • Good work, we usually feel best after having to work at getting through it. Your determination is an inspiration to the rest of us. Now I'm so pumped I think I'll go try W3D3 in the rain.
  • If it washes off ask for a refund.
  • 51 four days ago. I may be getting older, but I refuse to grow up :)
  • Good work, if you stay on top of it ,it doesn't have to slow you down. Sounds like you have a good plan and your right the healthier you get, the less of a problem it becomes.
  • It does feel good once you realize, you can do this. Keep up the good work. But maybe just a light snack before you go.
  • Out of curiosity what did your HRM say about your 30 min.
  • If you have an iPhone there are lots of free pedometer apps out there. If your trying to log your cardio exercise you just enter the exercise and search and it comes up with a list to chose from that gets you an approximate number. If your doing strenght training it doesn't really burn much calories it just makes you…
  • The towel is good for 2 days, hung to dry in between. My sheets on the other hand, sping cotton, fall flannel. Well maybe not that bad, but probably a month or so anyway. :ohwell:
  • I was just reading in Men's Health and Nutrition Guide that low fat dressings are a scam, they do have less fat, but and way more sugar so they still taste good, so go with moderate amounts of full fat dressing or dressings made with olive or canola oil.
  • If you care what people think, I'm a people and I think tattoos on girls are HOT. The only down side is if where you work makes you cover them wrists are probably harder to hide. Therefore tell your boss to shove it and go get a tattoo.
  • By the way good luck Virginie I didn't mean to butt in on your thread, I'm following because I just finished w1d3 for the third time today, the lungs and legs feel good this time, but my left knee is sore under the kneecap tonight. Hopefully good for Friday , I would really like to move on to week 2 now that I can jog all…
  • I don't know if it will help but I've been reading about sore knees after mine acted up today and most recommend ice, I also just got off the elliptical here at work and that motion doesn't seem to bother my knee. Might work for you so you don't need to take so much time off, it's sad to lose ground to an injury.
  • I usually find that with enough foreplay you can loosen even the tightest problem.
  • Wow you are all inspirational, I would have never thought of before and after face shots. What amazing photos like brand new people. Good work.
  • Congrats all you w5d3ers it sounds like this is the biggest psychological hurtle in the program, but also the greatest source of pride once it's completed. I have repeated w1d3 3 times now to get comfortable through it today but am looking forward to the day I look back on w5d3 and say "wow' I did that." For now my small…

  • I've got way to many jiggly parts to worry about new clothes, but I just finished w1d3 for the 3rd time and feel good other than a sore knee. So I splurged on a heart rate monitor that also counts calories burned since between this site and the c25k site the calories burned are all over the map. Oh ya the elliptical at…
  • Congrats on a job well done. Now I'm all inspired I think I'll tie my sneakers on and go do w1d3 again.
  • The bum lifting would help, I've found the hardest part of getting in shape is lifting my bum off the couch.
  • *freew67 - I haven't been at this long enough to have developed off day habits yet, but I have walked on a couple of them and since I'm on nightshift tonight we have a bow flex gym and dumbbells at work so I was thinking of an upper body workout tonight. Thanks for your input.
  • Good work, I can't wait to see that kind of progress.

  • I'm thinking I should probably repeat w1d3 at least one more time to make sure before I go to 90 sec jogs. I have athsma as well so I'm also experimenting with the medication so I don't run out of air before the end. I guess it took me 50 years to get this far out of shape I shouldn't be suprised if it takes the next 50 to…
  • Thank you your very kind. I've noticed on your posts on here your a very positive upbeat person, with all the bad mouthing and trolling your the type of person that elevates these forms. Thanks for your responses.

  • I just did w1d3 for the second time and for the fist time completed all the jogging parts and set a personal best for my 2 mile loop at 35:50. I wouldn't have guessed I could do it today after working a long nightshift and only 4 hrs sleep. So it does get better even if it doesn't feel likely. My question is should I…
  • Is that where my moobs came from.
  • My iPhone app, computer and iPad all update together. Although the computer may need the page refreshed to show changes.
