Running with HRM
Today I ran 25 min with my HRM and kept my HR between 130 and 140 ( my max HR is 169) and it seemed that I could have easily have kept going. I'm wondering if people who actually run 5k and 10k races use a HRM this way or if you are even allowed to. I was running pretty slow, but I'm guessing that as my fitness increases…

Mowing the lawn
MFP awards 400 cal for mowing the lawn for 1 hour, there are 400 cal in four of my favourite light beer, coincidence....I think not. :bigsmile:

Anyone with athsma?
I did w1d3 today and jogged most of the jogging parts until the last two when my athsma started to act up. Hard to run holding your breath. But the good news is I knocked 2min off by best time for this loop, 36 min walk/running. I think I will repeat w1d3 until I can run all the running parts. Anyone else with athsma doing…

WooHoo I did w2d1 of my c25k first try I jogged all the jogging bits and set a pb for my 2 mile run/walk loop of 35:00. After taking 3 trys to finish w1d3, a great moral victory.

Just do it
WooHoo, today I managed to jog all the jogging parts on my c25k program ( as he does a little jig with a heel click at the end) After a 13 hr nightshift I made myself get up after 4 hrs sleep thinking I would at least get some fresh air and some exercise. But after stumbling out the door fighting to get my music working…
