I lost 85 pounds and hit a 2 month plateau..I increased my calories by 125 calories/day and do not eat back my exercise calories now..I lost a little over a pound last week in doing so..this is only my second week so we shall see..

Just bought some oil and tried it for the first time yesterday..I left it in overnight but its hard to wash out and left my hair greasy feeling.

I had my level done in Feb 2013 it was 1.05 (normal range 0.40-4.50) So it was in the normal range

Mine is on top and in the front to the point that you can see my scalp..I try moving my hair from one side to the other to cover it up..I got a new vitamin supplement that contains everything for women over 50 and it includes iron, biotin, iodine, and all the other essential vitamins and minerals..fingers crossed..hope it…

I do take Levothyroxine but Ive been taking it for years with no hair loss..Im convinced the hair loss has something to do with my weight loss or something missing from my diet..Im not totally ruling it out as a side effect but I don't have a choice..I have to continue the medicine for life.

Thanks..I'll check out the website..I went today and bought a new multivitamin for women over 50 that contains many vitamins and minerals that people were recommending I try and an iron supplement as well..I received alot of useful info here..thanks everyone

I have more energy than I've ever had..Im walking 4 miles this sunday for the March of Dimes..I have walked 3 miles many times..5 miles once..exercise 30-60 minutes a day now..usually walking, treadmill,aerobics

How much protein do I average..looks like I usually always take in more than recommended by mfp settings..today 15% of total calories were protein..yesterday 24%...tues..17%...in looking back almost always over

I didn't answer because I didn't know until someone helped me figure it out..my TDEE is 2078 and my 15% cut would be 1766/day Ive been on 1440, 1530, 1780, and as of today back to 1530..it took me awhile to respond because there are over 64 responses to read here..

I do have hypothyroidism and have been on medication for it for years..I have my levels checked every 6 months and they are always within the normal range.

I had my settings on sedentary when I started in 2012 because I have a desk job..but I work 12 hr shifts so I only work 3 days a week..Im pretty active the other days of the week..In Jan of this year I changed it to light activity because thats what so many people recommended I do..
