Where's the "like" or "+1" button? This is totally deserving. Thank you, MFP, for encouraging healthy lifestyles.
-
All of this. They are not supportive or helpful if they are trying to push you into continuing a lifestyle that you know isn't healthy. It's time for new friends. I liken it to someone who is trying to stay off of drugs dropping their old friends that they used with.

I have the Magic Bullet. Put it this way: I used it for pureeing veggies for my toddler when he was first starting solids. It does a great job on my protein shakes, too. We like it enough that we bought a second one for the base to keep at my husband's office so that he can have protein shakes for lunch, too.

At 36DD/36E, I'd suggest you skip the cheap bras altogether and go for a good one at a specialty shop. (34DDD/F, here, so I know the feeling of wanting to keep the girls in place.)

I'm a SAHM with a 2 year old and a 2 month old. I do my workouts after my 2 month old's 5:30 am feeding. Sometimes I take the dog(s) out for a walk in the evening.
-
Absolutely not. Yuck. Fortunately, he doesn't actually give me the option. He's currently signaling that he's done with his food by dumping the plate on the floor for the puppies. :-P Good thing we have dogs, or my floors would be a disaster.

Ha! Pretty much. :-) My arms looked freaking AMAZING when I got pregnant with my daughter. Like approaching Linda Hamilton in Terminator 2 level of awesome. I'd like that level of definition back, along with no muffin top. ;-)

True fact: I was pretty darned sedentary until two weeks ago. This is day 15 of my *kitten* kicking workouts, and I feel so much better for having done it.

I'm actually out to lose 23 more pounds. I'm shooting for 126, which is still heavier than my "when I met my husband" weight. I don't have any expectation of actually *losing* 1 pound a week. Sometimes I'll lose a couple, sometimes I'll lose only half. With PCOS, I have to work twice as hard to lose half the weight.

My net is 1230. I don't go more than 150 short in a day. On heavy workout days, I'll eat close to 2000 calories (because I'm eating back my exercise), and on lighter days, I'll eat closer to 1400. Usually, I'm right around 1700. The counting my exercise and eating it back works well for me psychologically because I love…

Awesome. It's just something that I keep seeing repeated on here. Again and again and again. :-P I haven't figured out how to reset my macros, but I do tend to be consistently over in my protein... especially on weight training days.
-
I wouldn't say that it's completely BAD... but more muscle means burning more calories. And you won't buik up in a calorie deficit.
-
Just think... If those 18 got out, then they could take their weight with them. And then you wouldn't have any weighht left to lose!

Nope, I live in British Columbia now.
-
Not anymore, but I used to live out there. It's actually where I'm from, way back when there was absolutely no other subdivisions out there other than Foxwood and Fox Ridge (now known as Country Crossings). :-) Good luck on your journey!

LOL at the guys wanting boobs! I somehow suspect if y'all had your own boobs, you'd never leave the house. ;-) As for me? I'm happy at 5'4. And I'm okay with my F's. (Considering I just came back down from G's, I am thrilled with F's.) How 'bout less frizz in the hair?
-
Great progress! Keep it up, and you'll keep getting those NSV's. :-)

LOL! It's a MMORPG. (Massive multiplayer online role playing game) It can be quite addictive. That's why I don't play it.

My 14 year old started sleeping at night in his crib right off the bat. My 2 year old, after a month. My 8 week old, last week. They all slept through the night early on... this baby has been sleeping through since she was 2 weeks old. I have no idea how to nip co-sleeping at that age. :-(

Have you tried using an Oxy Clean type thing? I use it periodically when my kids' cloth diapers are a little smelly after being washed. If it can take care of my boy's wicked ammonia pee and my girl's horrid poop stains, I'm pretty sure it will help out your favorite top. (And since you're getting ready to toss it, anyway,…

I LOVE Body by Vi shakes. It's a powder, and you mix it with different things to produce different flavors. The powder itself tastes like cake mix, and it gives it a cake batter flavoring. My favorites are Butterfinger (which is almond milk, peanut butter, and fat free butterscotch pudding powder with ice) and peanut…

This is my second week on MFP and my first week doing the challenge. Goal: 3500 Mon: 305 (CLX Burn Circuit I, dog walking) Tues: 367 (Turbo Jam Learn & Burn, Slim in 6 Slim & Limber, dog walking) Wed: 574 (CLX Burn Circuit II, TJ Learn & Burn, Si6 Slim & Limber, dog walking) Thur: calories burned (how they were burned)…

I don't log housework, even though I see others that do it. I'm a SAHM. I do housework every day. I do log things like taking the kids to the park, doing the grocery shopping since it's a three store tour that takes at least an hour and a half (I log them both as slow walking), and such. If I did yard work (which I don't),…

When I was truly skinny? (I was 5'4" and 96 pounds... never broke 100 pounds until I was pregnant.) I ate whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. I'd have things like a box of cookies for lunch, etc. Which is why trying to lose weight now is so much harder... Now I have to actually develop good eating habits.

SOME deficit. But 1300 calorie deficit, plus the built in one from MFP? That's excessive.

This.

Go, you! I just started CLX now that I can work out again (post c-section). I'm not lifting *that* heavy, but I'm making progress. :-)

Guess my husband should kick me to the curb, then, since he complains about his weight and I do my best to "fix it" for him.... I've even been known to *gasp* ask folks on the internet what I can do before finally realizing that I can't do anything to motivate him to work out; he has to do it himself.

I do yoga/stretching videos 2-3 times a week. I leave the kids at home with the husband in the evenings and take the dog out on the trails near our house. I contemplate taking up smoking again. (Okay, I'm mostly kidding about that one...)
