THIS. All of this. Talk to your doctor and decide if it is a medical issue or a lifestyle issue and go from there. Be healthy and safe!

Usually between 6 and 7 PM. Thanks for all the responses. I do enjoy the constructive suggestions. Having will power can be tough. I envy those who have it and totally cheer for them! Perhaps over time I will develop it. One step at a time. I feel like late night eating is a big problem of mine. This is my step one. Try to…

I'm drinking about 8-12 glasses a day. Or 3 or 4 750ml Camelbak's full.

I am going to try. I usually weigh myself twice a week. I work at a Dr's Office so there are scales everywhere! It will definitely be a lesson in discipline. Current weight :225 Goal for 8/19: 219

Ah.... sisterly love. I understand, I have 3 older sisters. Turn it around. Next time say something like "Perhaps if you were nicer he would have flirted with you." or "Stop being such a b****! Being healthy make ME happy, I could care less what my health does to YOU." or my personal favorite: "It's MY life, not YOURS."

theppk.com - it's all vegan, but I have made several of these recipes without telling people they are vegan (I'm not actually vegan, I just like veggies a lot). My mom even asks me to make some of the recipes again.

I am 37 and just had my first. Not only am I in a much better place financially and emotionally than I was when I was younger, I also got to enjoy my youth without having the responsibility of being a parent. Not that you can't enjoy yourself as a parent, but it does change EVERYTHING. You no longer come first and you will…

I am definitely going to try these!

I'm going on vacation in a week and a half and am bringing yogurt and almonds for breakfast, having light lunches and saving my calories for when the partying ensues!

I'm a single mom with a budget. That said... I LOVE to make soups and load them up with veggies! I make large batches, separate tham into individual serving containers (admittedly, probably not the BEST containers, but hey...) and freeze it. That way if I didn't have time to prepare a lunch, I can grab a container out of…

I am also a new mum! My son is 5 months old. I was heavy before getting pregnant and only gained 20 pounds (I have no idea what that is in stones) and lost it immediately. I now have to get healthier and fit to keep up with my son.

Appetite For Reduction (by Isa Moskewicz) has several recipe variations for "cauli-pots" where they combine mashed cauliflower and mashed potatoes, so you get the best of both worlds.

I am in the same boat! Although my baby is 5 months. I take short walks carrying him in a ring sling. Often times he falls asleep and it gives us a chance to cuddle and exercise at the same time. You can log that in as "walking carrying an infant or 15 pound weight".

I warm up some frozen berries (I like trader joe's mixed berries) and top it with that. I also like to spread it on top of a multigrain or banana waffle. I mix it with lemon juice, finely chopped cucumber and mashed garlic and some salt to make a quick, simple tatziki.

I'm pretty new to this site as well. I have yo yo dieted a good portion of my life. When I started here I set what seemed like a reasonable goal of 1300 calories a day. I was so hungry and I always went over, often binging because I was so hungry. I quickly realized that wasn't going to work and adjusted my goal to a more…

I'm a full time working single mother of a 4 month old. And it's tough. He is my inspiration to lose weight so I can set a good example for him as well as keep up with him (he is already showing signs of being quite active). I tend to cook large quantities of things that can be frozen in single servings. I have an…
