No don't worry about getting your heart rate down. While you technically burn a higher percentage of calories from fat in that zone you will burn more calories overall in the higher zone which will be higher amount of fat. Does that make sense?

Water. Anything that you gain that quickly is water. How much did you drink yesterday? Believe it or not the more water you drink, the less your body will store.

I would like to see some recipes too. Also, when I make a smoothie with kale I still have little pieces of kale in it. Should I blend it longer or is there some other trick?

I like to have a serving of greek yogurt after a workout. It has a good shot of protein and carbs. Sometimes a banana too.

We like to have Taco Tuesdays at home. I fry some tofu cubes with some cumin and red pepper. Then we put whatever we want on it. Usually black beans, salsa, cucumbers, avocado, pineapple, cilantro, etc. If you don't want to use a taco shell then mix it in a bowl with some brown rice.

Thank you. Low fat is not the answer! Americans have lowered the percentage of fat in their diet over the past 40 years because our overall calories have gone up. Just watch your overall calories!

I was reading an article in the gym about skim milk being not good for a diet. That fat in 2% milk helps you to feel fuller, longer. I need to look into it a little bit more bu it is the same idea as yours.

I just used mine with my new HRM the other day and the machine was estimating my calories at ~double the HRM. :huh:

I think I heard the instructor say the other day it was ~18-25. We usually do ~20.
