  • You look great - well done!
  • Day 6 Level 2 done. Only 4 more days to get through until the hated level 2 is done. I blame all the plankwork for the hatred. Feeling a bit meh as my measurements have gone up since Level 1 was complete and weightloss has been non existent - even though I have upped the ante with additional cardio. Sigh. Oh well at least…
  • Level 2 Day 4 done. It should have been day 5 but I took yesterday off. I'm almost at the half way point and still haven't lost a single gram. OH well it doesn't really matter as I have lost many inches. After todays shred I had collapsed on the sofa with a chocolate milk and my partner was trying to guilt me about my food…
  • Day 3 of Level 2 Complete. I really suffered doing it this morning but that was due to sleep deprivation. I couldn't slakc off as a peanut gallery (my 3 kids) give me advice re my technique. I like dong it first thing as I know that it is out of theway, I feel energised for the rest of the day and if I am feeling good I…
  • Great results. I am on Day 12 of the shred and my starting measurements are very similar to yours, so it is great motivation to keep on going.
  • Day 2 of Level 2 complete. I really am not fond of the strength moves in this level. There is no way I am taking a rest day during level 2 as I just want it over and done. Well done to those have seen it through to the end - your results are keeping me motiviated to keep on going so I hopefully see similar reuslts
  • That my oldest child is 18 this year :( That my university student number starts with an 89 - the year I started my first degree :( Still perplexed how I managed to pass without the internet and a laptop. Oh and how at my first job we all ooh'ed and aah'ed about this wonderous thing called the internet on one specific…
  • During pilates classes we use the two tennis balls to release tension in the thighs, glute's, and lutes. THe technique is pretty much to lie down, find the "meatiest" part of the muscle , place the tennis ball there and roll on top of muscle area until the muscle releases. FOr the bottom of the foot golf balls are used. It…

  • I think weight gain in the first week is a fairly common experience. I know that I haven't lose a single iota since starting 11 days ago - however I have lost inches everywhere which is far more encouraging than numbers of a scale. Break out your tape measure and track your progress this way until you have finished the…
  • Well you are probably safe from Magpies as they usually only swoop during spring to defend their nests. I never realised that Canberra was such a hot bed of crime. I thought is was just public servants and the occasional politician.I am surprised that travel warnings haven't been issued for the other states.
  • I have lost and inch and a bit off my waist in the past two weeks doing the 30DS (everyday) and pilates classes (x3 a week). So it can be done - I haven't lost any weight though.
  • Pumped up kicks is the only song that makes me turn off the radio when I hear it.
  • Day 1 of Level 2 completed. Yay. It wasn't as horrific as I anticipated (thank you pilates for introducing me to hideous moves previously). I took my measurements pre the start of Level 2 and since begining I have lost and inch off my waist, and inch off my natural belly button, and inch off my bust (hopefully this is just…
  • Me too. I am hoping that all this talk about Level 2 being dire is just talk.
  • Yay Level 1 Day 10 done. Feeling more positive today, and that it is making a differenece. Will take my meaurements before Level 2 Day 1 started and maybe even some progress photo's if I am feelinbg brave.
  • Bump to find easily again when I need some motivation
  • Personally I am going with the 10 days at each level approach. I have been just trying to upo my reps and doing less modified moves to keep it challenging.
  • L1 - Day 9 done. Can't make up my mind whether to have a rest day after Day 10 has been completed are just keep pushing on. I am feeling a bit demotivated as I don't appear to losing anything but I really must persevere till the bitter end before I decide if it was a waste of effort of not.
  • I stopped smoking about 2 months ago. Then put on 5kg (11 pounds) within a month - and I hadn't changed my eating habits at all :( But I don't regret stopping as I feel so much better and have more money in the bank and feel like I am finally free of that particular addiction. I joined MFP two weeks ago to find a solution…
  • I am here and cakeless. Just having a delicious protein shake instead :(
  • Day 8 completed. It was completely knackering as I decided that it wold be a great idea to do the shred straight after a pilates class. I was dying like I did on Day 1. Looking forward to Day 10 when I wil take some measurements and progress photo's - hpoing that I will be able to see some changes as the scales are doing…
  • L1 - Day 7 done. I managed to do all the cardio properly today (before I modify the jump rope). Go team me. I definitely like checking in to remind me what day I am up too and to just keeping going.
  • Day 6 completed. I can't believe how much fitter and slimmer I have gotten since starting. Also it gave me 1500 steps on my pedometre for the Global Corporate Challenge which starts today which is a great start to the day. Keep on going everyone.
  • Day 5 completed this morning. Thankfully muscle soreness has now gone and my endurance is up. More importnatly I can actually see the start of changes to my abs. So excited and so motivated to keep going.
  • I'm didn Day 3, Level 1 this morning so I'm in. My weight pre 30DS was 70.5kg W - 93cm Hips - 104cm Bust - 104cm. I did an hour of pilates this evening as well so am expected a new level of suffering when I wake up tomorrow.
  • Gunpowder loose leaf tea is fab. If you are going the teabag option I think the Lipton brand Jasmin Green Tesa is awesome. The best way is to just dip the tea rather than brew it the way you would do with traditional tea. Green tea is awesome once you get used to it - antioxidant and zero calories and is yum after a while.
