What people say on the internet as ultimately it is just words on a screen. In real life, people care about what others think as our biological programing is to fit in to boost personal chances of survival.

What an inspirational story. You definitely look good, very good in fact.
-
That was a fascinating talk. Thanks for sharing.

Great information there Donna. Thanks for sharing :D

4 Weeks isn't that long in the scheme of things. I have been lifting for a year plus and am still a work in progress. The Strong Curves program is very good for developing a nice curvy shape, with a focus on the bottom half.

Great story. Thanks for sharing. I am in awe of your hand stand pressups, that is so hardcore.
-
You look great. Excellent 90 day results

Bookmarking. That pdf dowload is pretty awesome.

You look fantastic. Congratulations on your transformation.

Another vote for Strong Curves and hipthrusts for delivering a round and firm backside. The hipthrust is quite addictive once you get over the embarrassment factor as you can lift some vwry very heavy weights quite quickly.
-
Yep definitely. It used to be just grabbing my backside when I got bored, but now I have moved onto feeling the curve of my stomache and marvelling how firm it feels.

I have been doing Strong Curves for about six months now. I had a prerty good backside before I started but I am ver happy with the rwsults and the workouts generally.
-
Check out www.stumptous.com as well for some good advice on form as well. Starting Strength by Mark Rippletoe is good for gwtting your head around how the body should move when lifting.

There was a version of this called the Pokewalker. According to my teenage son it was the best thing ever.
-
Great article. I am a huge Bret Contreras fan. I think the title is a bit misleading though, as it is not just for beginners and a good reminder for those that have been lifting for a while.
-
You were an inspiration to me when I first joined MFP and you still are. Thanks for sharing.

Fantastic.

I am loving Green Gunpowder Tea at the moment. So fragrant and delicious.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I have downloaded the New Rules Supercharged and Wendlers 5-3-1 books to read and give me some new idea's and hopefully there will be something there that appeals to me.

Dav, good point. I have been enjoying strong curves a lot and would be sad not to have the barbell hipthrust in my lifting repertoire (especially as it is my strongest lift at the moment). I just wanted to explore what other options are out there.

Sunny and around 17 degree celcius. Perfect winter's day in my part of the world.

They were just giving away green tea at my gym. I feel robbed by my lesser gym freebie experience.

Just finished Prince of Fools by Mark Lawrence. Excellent book with an interesting anti hero. Totally recommend it is your are a GOTfan
-
I'll break with mfp tradition and recommend the Strong Curves program, particularly as you are a run and it will build up your glute muscles.
-
Both are pretty derogatory towards women really.

Your back looks amazing Fuji. Lifting really delivers great results!

Your arms look fantastic! Well done.
