I agree. I guess my question boiled down to if I exercise for weight loss and then eat back those calories, why even exercise.

I usually don't eat back unless I lift heavy. If I play a round of golf, or work in my yard I don't eat back. *usually*

I've noticed this. 1500kcal to play a round of golf...in a cart! 500 kcal for pulling weeds. Anyway, thanks for the response.

Exactly. But if you were to log any exercise in MFP, it will increase your calories intake for that day.

I can understand yiu mot being abke to hit your daily intake. I cant either and i only need 8mg. Some things ive found if you want to stay away from pills: Cook your food in an iron skillet. Eat canned clams (yuck) As suggested earlier, fortified foods. Dark greens and legumes. Red meat etc.

Are you readjusting your calories/ macros to compensate for your weight loss? If not the calories you were eating fir a deficits at 167 might be maintenance at 150.

Protein = Protein Make sure you add some carbs to the mix as a post workout though, those shakes are very low in everything but protein.

I'm still lifting as I write this. I usually finish up at 10:30 - 10:45pm then I eat my post workout meal which is usually a shake. So I finish eating after 11pm
