Thanks for joining me! What are you up to? I’ve only gone once this week but hope to do week 2 day 2 tomorrow and another two on the weekend. It’s going to be hot tomorrow so I’ll have to go early or late.

I had a gain too this week rAch_hel! What is your plan? I just signed up for 12 weeks of bootcamp three times a week! Hope it helps. it doesn't start for a few weeks though. I can't exercise too much atm so I have to rely on diet and it is hard. My husband came home with chocolate chip waffles today. I mean, really! No…

But this just tells me I need some water- it does not explain why you are saying I have to drink heaps of water. Where is the evidence I need to drink more? Here is some saying it is a myth: http://www.cbc.ca/news/health/8-glasses-of-water-a-day-an-urban-myth-1.1196386

Ok, I am posting in here again. Why is it important? no one has posted any evidence. I should also disclose that I am not from the US. Interesting in light of spoiledpuppies post above.

I'm not serious about it at all. I hate water. Drinking it is so boring. It is much better with caffeine in it. In your post you don't give any evidence of why it is beneficial to drink a lot of water. I vaguely recall reading something which said that it is now recommend you just drink to thirst, not try to drink a…

It isn't the coffee that is the issue, it is the milk and calorie laden additions like flavoured syrup. So yes, I drink heaps of caffeine. I do intermittent fasting and it helps on fast days. I drink coke zero and macchiatos- they are very low in calories. I used to drink coffee with milk and two sugars, but I weaned…

Yay denisejohnson! RAc_hEl- oh no! Hope you are ok! What happened? I had concussion for three weeks last year and was not able to control my appetite at all, so I sympathise. Table with results for week 1 to now is in the first post of this thread.

jenmck5- thanks! I got a distinction and distinction in my class work too, so I was very happy. I was slightly concerned as I had a Korean guy grading me (so I thought he might be extra hard) and my partner was my sister-in-law who was out partying until 2am and was not at her best. But it was all good. For our colour belt…

Bump. Well done everyone! Kmouse2: at least it's not a gain!

Yay for everyone's losses! I was tracking so well, then completely messed it up on the weekend, so I am very disappointed in myself. I also had a word to my husband about sabotaging me. He means to be nice bringing me chocolate or a cookie with my coffee and sure, I don't have to eat it, but once it is right there I do eat…

GunslingerGirl- ooh the colour run will be so fun! I entered one last year but couldn't run it as I had concussion dammit! ok, the starting table is up- on the first post to this thread. The last few weights posted may not be on that list, but they will be on the next one. PM any mistakes. I have had a good week, am hoping…

No, your starting TDEE depends on your start weight- it is not really relevant to your goal weight. You go by how you look and feel. There is no perfect weight you will hit. Of course you could hit your 20s weight again if you keep trying. I'm 40 and have had 3 kids and I lost 50+ pounds and got to 104 (I was naturally…

Are you very small? 1400 net might be close to maintenance for you? I am 5'1 so I need to net way lower to lose. If not, perhaps look into intermittent fasting. I lost the last 10 pounds doing IF very quickly- my body really reacted to it.

I am grading for red belt in WTF tkd this Sunday. I hate forms too, I like sparring although the sparring class runs too early for people with office jobs in the city to get to, which is annoying.

sorry, list will go up soon, I have been busy- I work and have three kids and have been exercising a fair bit. landyardsale- I lose weight easily when I make a real effort too. I have made a real effort as I am going to have to cut my exercise down in a couple of weeks so I want to make good progress in the meantime. How…

weightitup.com.au This has weekly meal plans as well as just recipes. You can print off a shopping list for the week and you eat the dinner one night for lunch the next day. Good for trying out new things.

Welcome those who have just joined! I have done the table but am just tweaking it so that it can read ok, so it should be up in the next day or so. I'm working today and I have taekwondo and bootcamp tonight. So far so good, I am feeling better about myself already! lacyrae83- weekends have been my downfall the last few…

Ooh Amberka, I think I have 6 week 6 pack, I will have to look for it. I like Jillian's no more trouble zones and her kickboxing one. Skies1100- I have a two year old too. He picks up little 1 kg weights and moved his arms and does jumping jacks and tries to do push-ups and sit ups. It is so cute but does make it hard. Hi…

Ahhh, I can't fix the typo in the heading! I weighed in this morning and I am disappointed as I am still 56kg/ 123.45 pounds. I do so well during the week and then ruin it on the weekend. So I want to lose a bit over 6 kg/ 14.5 pounds. I'm only 5'1 so that is within a healthy BMI for me. This week I will do taekwondo 4…

I am in for January! I'll go for 100, start the year off with a bang!

Sorry I have been on holidays and hopeless at checking in. I did 121 km this month. Just did the conversion and if was exactly my goal, 75 miles! :)

I have 3 children, my youngest just turned 2. I have just lost more than 50 pounds. I don't know if you can tell by my profile pic, but my stomach is flat. My biggest baby was 8 pounds 8 and I am only 5'1. I do have stretch marks but I don't really care.

20 for me this week. So 36/75. Not going too great but I did have concussion for two weeks! Lots of running over the holiday break, so hopefully will redeem myself.

It is nice having friends who don't think you are weird for liking to kick stuff !
