  • I've done close to 1200 and have lost 30lbs since the beginning of May. When I started to stall for a couple of weeks, I upped my carbs substantially with chicken breasts and egg whites, and i cut out as much sugar as possible, and the scale moved again.
  • Great job!! That's a hard one. I have the same struggle with Mexican food! Lots of small good choices = success!

  • I eat whatever I want all day and lose. And by "whatever I want" I mean healthy foods that I tell myself are delicious and are exactly what I want until I get to like them. And then I like them and then I'm not lying to myself anymore!
  • Is there a way for you to just leave the house and go walk around the mall or Wal-Mart or just at a park, to distract yourself?

  • Yes! I had to read this book 3 years in a row for summer reading while switching schools. AWFUL!! I say schools should toss out Lord of the Flies and let kids substitute Hunger Games.
  • W2D2 done! I'm pleasantly surprised at the exercises I can do - when I previewed W2, I saw a couple where I was like, "no way I can do that" and somehow I did! Those crow pushups are a killer, though!

  • I agree, I think their protein is too low. But I think even lower is their fiber goal! I try to get at least 25g fiber a day, but my goal was set at 14.
  • First day of Week 2 down! I have amusingly short arms, so the tabletop thing had to be modified. Used 2lb weights, but will try heavier ones tomorrow. I am so pleasantly surprised that this feels easier than the Week 1 workout! All that worrying yesterday for nothing :)
  • My goal is to start Ripped in 30 Week 2 today. I'm really lacking motivation today - I'm tired and my muscles are sore, but I always feel awesome after I do my exercise! Edited: And to stay under my sodium limit today!
  • My favorite Greek yogurt is the Kroger brand, Cranberry Fig flavor. It's made with Splenda so it only has 14 carbs, too! I mix 6oz of that with a cup of Fiber One cereal, and then I get all my fiber for the day, plus protein from the yogurt. It's the texture of fruity, tangy haystacks, yum!
