I agree with the 80/20 in some ways. I think 20% is a good amount of treats... however... I do not agree with 4 complete cheat meals. The 20% should count all the extra through out the week- extra cream in your coffee, butter on your toast, all those little things are also extras and are not healthy. I usually eat whatever…

Thank you for all the answers! That was definitely helpful. I know I won't be able to get an exact measurment without a food scale but it does help having an idea of how much to put on my plate. My day was wonderful! I stayed at home with my fiance and we cooked Thanksgiving dinner together for the first time. We are both 500 miles away from our families and were not able to make the trip. If I am not hungry, I won't eat. However, I will make sure to reevaluate my hunger 1-2 hours later and eat something. Do you have the Virtua Gym App on your phone? They have a couple different levels of workouts... The Newbie is 20 min, Beginner is 30 min, and advanced is 40 min. They show how to do all the exercises and it even has a timer for the marching and running portions.

I'm in. The Thanksgiving meal should be easier for me, I am staying home, 500 miles away from my family. Me and my fiance are cooking for ourselves and we are just broke right now so its looking like some boxed stuffed, broccoli and cheese and some turkey.

I agree with the having a harder time each time you try to lose weight after doing something so unhealthy!! I am really struggling right now because I messed up the 1st time around.

900 is not healthy at all. I disagree with the you won't lose as fast if you eat that low, you will. I have done it.. I lost 50 pounds in 3 months eating 1000 calories a day, but that doesn't make it right. The weight came back just as quickly. So what if she ends up winning . Your betting your health.

Of course it does! All those extra steps add up. I was amazed how many calories we burn doing those kind of things, and I was even more amazed how many calories I would eat after because I deserved a treat!

I lost it all at once the 1st time around (I lost 50 pounds in a very unhealthy manor) and was able to keep it off for about 4 years, but as soon as I gave up the unhealthy practices, all the weight came back! SO this time I am doing it much more slowly.

I love it! Mostly because I wanted a more back to basics type app. Everything I have found so far that refers to exercise it more along the lines of the Beachbody workouts and I wanted to find something that 1) Was free, or a small charge and 2) Showed me how to do the exercises.

You probably have a very fast metabolism! Give it another week or two, see if it slows down, if not, you could probably bump up your calories. Do you have a very active job? Maybe your daily activity was underestimated.
