  • I am not a mom but I am a teacher to a classroom of 3 year olds! I have 9 children in my class. I have mine set at sedentary because I am not moving the entire day. While the children are napping I am not moving around, craft time etc! I guess it really just depends on how active you are with your child.

  • Are you talking about restrictive diet plans like Special K, Slim Fast etc or are you talking about those who are making lifestyle changes? It would not be fair to lump those who actually made changes and are satisfied with their life style changes... a life style change is not a diet.
  • I finished watching the movie. My fiance watched the last hour with me and we are definitely going to start trying to be more aware of where our food it coming from and the change that can be made by eating healthier.

  • MFP set mine to 1200 calories a day and I was starving! I changed the settings to lose 1/2 pound per week and it raised my calories to 1600 and now I am losing 2 - 3 pounds a week!!
  • This is just my opinion... It is a huge turn off for me! The reason being though is most of the guys I have ever met that do have a lot of muscle and really in shape were complete @ss***** and very cocky. It is not that I not "used to seeing" a built dude, I have not met one that wasn't cocky about it.

  • I agree with many of the other posters. Upon looking at your diary, your have logged maybe 3 days in the past week. Unless your writing down every calorie you eat someone else, you may be overeating those days, plus eating all your calories the days you log which will eventually lead to weight gain.

  • I couldn't afford one of the top line lines so I just bought a simple Mio. It cost me about $35. I am to lose 1/2 per week so I just want to make sure I don't double dip calories since I don't have that much room for error.
  • You said you workout 40 minutes and get 1200-1400 a day but mfp gives you over 1600. You need to eat a little bit more. Also, try to look at the quality of foods you are eating.   • I like this!! I think that is the way it should be...IMO .. I think this direct sales meal replacement this is just a fad and will be over soon. It wouldn't be so popular if it were in the stores and not through consultants.
  • My fear with any of the shakes is it is a very reduced calorie diet. I would be afraid I would gain it all back as soon as I began eating food again. Better for me to play it safe and eat regular food and lose the weight with healthy food.
