Warrior Dash! This year will be three years in a row with my best friend! Never would attempt something like a 5k with obstacles if I was still at my starting weight. We both started running for the first time that year. This year we're focusing on hiking. We've been on a handful of hikes with a good amount of elevation to…

Amen, sistah. I rarely crave salt except during that time frame. Then I want ALL THE FRIES!!

I was a strict, 1200 calorie a day eater last year when I lost the majority of my weight. I had no energy, I lost a TON of hair (I even went to the dr. for this, it freaked me out that bad). I really couldn't maintain eating so little. I was exhausted. So, after I hit one of my three goals, I stopped counting my calories,…

I did OR's Warrior Dash for the first time last year which prompted my journey to lose weight. I don't know what city you are doing it in but what killed me was all the constant HILLS, the obstacles weren't even bad! The one thing I wished I had trained more was my endurance/stamina by running hills WAY more leading up to…

4'11 (and 3/4) here! Would love some new friends that understand how hard it is to be overweight and compact!

My hubby is famous for giving compliments that quickly turn into unintentional insults. I was walking up the stairs the other day with him in tow and he exclaims, "Hey babe, your *kitten* is lookin' good!" <PREEN>.."Man, for awhile there, when I walked behind you up the stairs I was thinking, 'her butt is getting REALLY…

Amen! All things are possible through Christ who strengthens us! LOVE this proclamation to Him! Congratulations on shining His light through your accomplishments!

This is awesome! Last time I renewed my license, my weight was listed as..oh..70lbs less than what it really was! When I left, I noticed the person who did it take the liberty to add another 10lbs to my weight. Hope someday people will double take when they look at the picture.

From hubby no less: "Your *kitten* is looking really good babe. I was kinda worried there for awhile. I'd walk behind you up the stairs and think to myself, 'her *kitten* is getting REALLY big'. Now it's looking good." Gah, whatever. I still love him.

Loved reading your story before. So inspiring!

I stopped snoring and was able to sleep on my back again Being able to walk around on my tippy toes with ease around the house Springing into my minivan with ease instead of hefting myself up into my seat (I'm a 4'11 shorty) WANTING to go clothes shopping for myself for the sheer fun of it instead of basic necessity

You know, I think I will track the sodium for awhile, see where that's sitting. Good suggestion! I really need to replace my typical lean michaelina's lunch as I know the carbs are tremendous in those things and I'm sure the sodium is terrible as well. They're just so convenient. Any suggestions for lunches, something…

Good point.

Once I'm home to measure for my BF%, I'm throwing myself wholeheartedly in this. With 4 months of plateauing, I gotta try something new! I hear so many good things about this! Also going to start researching weight lifting, squee!

I actually bookmarked helloitsdan's Road Map to figure it out some day for myself. When reading it, and all the success people have had with it, I did want to try to figure it out for my own goals. After 4 months of this, perhaps it's time I bite the bullet and work on it, eh?

I weigh 169lbs. I felt like I did several months of a full diet break as I wasn't counting my calories at all during October-December and basically ate whatever I wanted within reason.

Thank you! I have the p90x pylo cd as well as Jillian Michael's 30 day shred to try'n work on. Thank you for the food pointers as well, will also try that.

I'll look into Intermittent fasting. Found a video from another thread on it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqbj1_YBU6s&feature=youtu.be I actually fasted the first three days of the year for spiritual reasons, and that's when I dropped a pound, but then nothing has happened since then.

I usually eat at least half my exercise calories.
