  • This is exactly the kind of cleanse I'm doing. ALL natural fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs. Nothing artificial or pharmaceutical about it! I wouldn't eat HALF the stuff I put in my juicer, but I find that I candle handle drinking it! For example my afternoon juice consisted of beet, carrot, ginger root, apple, apricot,…
  • OMG...this use to be me! LMAO However, I quit smoking and drinking coffee so I do experience a lack of having to go. 2 table spoons of apple cider vinegar in 4oz of hot water works. so do apples or even adding a little EVOO to your dinner. the oil kind of helps to grease the track and get things moving. BUT....I'd still…
  • http://www.livestrong.com/article/252147-does-cardio-burn-muscle-or-fat/ I found this and it might help answer some of your questions
  • i'm the same way. i gain about 5lbs within the first couple days with no change in my diet, but I lose it all plus some a couple days after and my clothes fit better cause I'm no longer bloated!
  • I'd like to know too! LOL :)
  • i'm a pretty competitive and goal oriented person, so setting goals was and still is my biggest motivator by far. The gym I attend has challenges every so many months so I take part in those to keep me focused and on track
  • too freaking funny! same thing here! I am so much more aware of my butt now! :)
  • sorry...45lb loss! that's even more awesome!
  • i completely understand...it's not just you. As we work to lose weight and get to that ideal "perfect weight and size" the public standards seem to change. Once voluptuous was beautiful and now anorexic is. It's all about finding what "Your perfect weight and size" is and feeling good about your accomplishments. A 30lb…
  • one more thing...track your body fat %... there is a good chance the weight loss islowing NOT because you aren't losing fat, but because you are replacing it with muscle
  • i DO recommend a cleanse ESPECIALLY if your diet hasn't exactly been that healthy..HOWEVER...there are a million different cleanses out there with different suggestions on how long you should be on a cleanse. I am currently on a juicing cleanse and I only plan on doing it for 7 days to rid my body of toxins and clean up my…
  • I have the same problem...When my dumb bells hit 25lbs I had to start wearing gloves which does help a lot, but with heavier lifting, such as dead lifts, to lift more than 145lbs I have to use wrist straps...you can find both at most sporting good stores
  • my question would be...how much sodium do you consume? more sodium=more water retention. also never weigh yourself after you eat. first thing after relieving yourself in the morning on the same day of every week (let's say Monday) would give you the most accurate scale readings.
  • correct...your body will hold onto everything you take in and starts breaking down your muscles for the energy it needs. It's an ugly cycle! I workout 5 days a week 90 mins a day and my trainer has me at 1400 calories a day. just make sure you're getting most of your calories from protein and veggies rather than from…
  • LOL...i think some companies label their clothes with smaller sizes to make us women feel good so we'll keep buying their brand!
  • it's worked for me EVERYTIME! Good luck!
  • your welcome! I never trust clothing sizes. Depending on the brand... I wear everything between a 4 and an 8.
  • all the advice is good! switching up your food and exercise routine is crucial in overcoming a plateau, but if I may make a suggestion....steer clear of the pre-packaged meals. They have a ton of sodium which leads to water retention (i'm sure you know that, but I had to say it anyway!) :) also...mix up your cardio…
  • i get my measurements done at the gym I go to by my trainer. the most common measurements taking for women are bust, waist and hips. for my bust she measures around the fullest part of my breast (level with my nipples). waist is measured from back to front with the measuring tape right at the height of my pelvic bone and…

  • i don't know you, but I love you! :) well said!!
  • i'll be your friend! We have a TON in common! :)
  • I'll be your friend! :)
  • are you going for strictly weight loss? or fat loss?! cardio circuits are great for burning fat, but you'll also burn muscle if you are not resistance training. If you're going for fat% weight loss...super setting your weight lifting routine will help maintain your LBM while burning fat
  • think of it as a pot of boiling water....when the water heats up and starts bubbling it starts to evaporate! :)
