It sounds like you should probably mix it up. Since you've already done insanity twice, your body has probably gotten use to the movements. Lifting helps build lean muscle so don't be surprised if at first you don't lose a ton of weight cause like i'm sure you know...muscle weighs more than fat. I suggest that you find out…

are you wanting to lose weight? or tone?

besides my 4am and 6am...you and I are on the exact same food schedule!

mine aren't too indredibly big...36DD, but I strap the girls down to the point they can't jiggle even if I try.

lol...too funny...I have often wondered that. I guess it depends on how full I got from the last meal I ate. I usually try to eat at the exact same time everyday and I eat little portions so it really only takes me about 5-10mins to eat. it's the cooking time that gets me. if I'm running behind on my schedule cooking…

I do what my trainer tells me. it may have to do with my early morning work out but she recommends having protein before bed like cottage cheese, yogurt, protein shake with water or skim milk, a spoonful of PB, etc. something about the protein keeping your metabolism working while you're sleeping, so your body doesn't hit…

For me it has always been about perfection. I do notice, in the mirror, when I lose weight or tone up something, but I never look at the big picture. My eyes always seem to focus in on the spots that "still need work". I'm down 60lbs of fat, but up 19lbs of muscle and even though I KNOW I look WAAAAAY better than I did 3…

when I was weight lifting I ate 2500-3000cals a day. Now that I am on a more strict cardio routine I eat my 1200cals + half to all my exercise cals daily, but that still puts me at about 1000-1500cals less then I was eating just a few weeks ago. I considered the fact that I am not eating foods that sit heavy (breads, rice,…

I have popped benadryl a couple times to help me sleep, but I hate having to drug myself :( I feel ya though
-
Thanks! Congrats to you too! It DEFINITELY isn't easy, but it was holding me back from my fitness goals so I quit. It's only been 4 weeks so maybe I still need more time for my body to adjust
-
it does help thanks..i use to do cardio in the evening and I would be awake until the wee hours of the night then too. I just recently got into weight lifting for a contest I participated in and I had never slept better in my LIFE the night I had a good AM session of weight lifting. Maybe the cardio doesn't wear me out as…

I run a child care so I KNOW how picky kids can be. I also know that one day they'll say they love something and the next they'll tell me they hate it...Every day is a battle! BUT...every day I win! More often than not it isn't the fact they're not hungry or they don't like what they are being served...it's the fact that…

I'm also a ranch fan...You should try the hidden valley ranch dip packet and mix it with a 500g container of 0% Fage greek yogurt! it tastes great, has more protein and no fat!

I was thinking the same thing reading all the replies!

Sounds like I have to get a smart phone!!! lol...I've been making it to the gym, but it hasn't gotten anymore fun; however, I'm so tired  I space out staring at the wall and before I know it cardio is over and it's time for training

I'd have a gal pal to run with if you'd hurry up and move to Washington already!!! Jeez! :)

Height- 5'2" Weight- 155lbs Jean size- 4 Tops- SM-LG (depends on style)
Try a 260 pound sled pull up and down a parking lot on an incline - just once and I swear your heart will be flying out of your chest - at least mine was...
OMG! I feel like I'm having a damn heart attack every time!!
-
how tall are you and how much do you weigh now???
-
This is SOOO me! Although I do some cardio...I prefer weight lifting!
-
yeah...I went and spent a pretty penny on what I was told was a good running shoe. They are wonderful, but still didn't fix the problem :( but they are pink!

I can see logic in that explanation since my calves do start to get sore around 30 mins!
-
I'm 5'2" 30 yrs old. My ultimate goal weight is 130lbs. I'd say get your body fat tested to see how much of your weight is lean body mass and how much is fat to determine what should be right for you!
-
I've thought circulation too, but you'd think being on my feet ALL day, exercising, eating right, lifting weights and quitting smoking would result in good circulation?!
-
i agree! not much really turns me off..lol...but bad teeth is a SERIOUS deal breaker!!!
-
so i DO need new feet! :)
-
probably something that shows as much skin as possible with out being totally naked
-
All movement burns calories. If you are doing 3 sets (I am assuming you meant sets when you said reps) of 25 crunches then yes you are burning calories and you would log them as calisthenics
-
i agree and relate to this 100%

also...i was an "after every meal" smoker....end of a big meal left me wanting a cig. That full feeling ya know? anyways....watching your portions and eating little meals takes the edge of the hunger craving associated with quitting and frequently snacking on GOOD/HEALTHY snacks keeps your hands, mouth and tummy satisfied!
