I'm not a doctor but you said you ate a school lunch and you had Chinese food. You are retaining water. It doesn't take much water to show a big gain on the scale. It will go away soon. Also, consider using the exercise calorie counter to record housework.

Awwwww, congratulations on the new baby. What I like about MFP is that it is easy to use and it is free. Nothing has worked for me for the last 15 years but this is working. I can stick to the plan and it is easy to use.

I fix it and cook a bunch of vegetables and throw it all together with some parmesan cheese; yummy. It make for a 300 calorie dinner.

Everything looks yummy. I think you should just order whatever looks good to you BUT only eat half a portion. Ask for a box and take the rest home for later in the week. The other option I might consider is to order a couple of appetizers and ask that they be brought with the dinners.

I guess I'm more of the permission wiegher. And I don't want to be that way. I'm tempted to weigh myself constantly as if I need the validation to prove my work is paying off. Thing is...scales can't give that validation. Only I can provide that for myself.

I guess it would depend on if you were looking for aerobics or core strengthening. I personally love the New York City Ballet workout. It's great for core strength and flexibility - not aerobic - at least I haven't found the aerobic part.
