Calcium Tracking on MFP
Can anyone tell me how MFP shows calcium on the food log? I know that 1 oz of light mozzarella string cheese contains roughly 279 mg of calcium. My MFP food log says 15 for the string cheese. I'm confused.

Question about Exercise Calories
I have been wondering about this for a little while now. When I entered my goals into my MFP profile the system asked me how much I exercised and I answered 5 times per week for 30 minutes a day. The system responded with the number of calories I should eat per day. I get that part. BUT When I record my exercise - do I…

Hitting a Wall
I've been on MFP since September and lost 10 pounds. I have 32 more to go. This last couple of weeks things have been falling apart diet wise. I think it is my emotional state. My whole identity is that of a fat person. It is how I think of myself; it's how I always think of myself. Even back when I was thin I thought of…

Workout clothes
I have no workout clothes. I just wear my jeans and a t shirt when I ride my stationary cycle. Where is the best place for plus size workout clothes? I tried Target and wasn't crazy about the selection - and everything there was very small. I wear a size 18 - 20 jeans. Where do you find good workout clothes.

Waiting for results
I had a biopsy of a breast nodule this morning. Now, I'm eating everything in sight. The radiologist thinks it was a cyst so I'm not too worried about the results - but still - it's stressful. I was told to not do anything today so exercise is out. Maybe a little gentle walking would be okay even if only for 10 minutes.…

Question regarding stress and weight loss.
Does stress affect our metabolism? I mean can it change how our bodies work so weight loss becomes more difficult? I'm not thinking in terms of our response to stress as in eating more to become numb or for comfort. I'm wondering about the physiology of stress and how our bodies adapt to it? Anyone know?

70 days on MFP
I went on my first diet 40 some years ago when I was 11 years old. My eating was monitored by my parents for the rest of the years that I lived with them. During the 1970's I was unsuccessful on Weight Watchers. In fact I couldn't stay on the program more than 3 weeks before I went back to my old eating habits. I spent…

What do you do on a really bad day?
I woke up with a horrible headache this morning- I took some Excedrine and the headache is now down to a dull throb. But I'm in a bad mood; a really, really bad mood. Weekend Eating
I seem to do really well during the week on this program. I'm at work and my days are really structured. It's the weekends that are difficult. I seem to fight cravings all day long. ACK What's up with the scale?
Seriously, what is up with my body (or the scale)? Friday I weighed 191which is a 1 pound loss from when I started. Today I weighed (I know, I know I shouldn't have) and I was up to 194.3.
