I'm going to a Thanksgiving dinner tonight at my church. Here is my plan: Exercise (done, 40 minutes on the stationary cycle) eat a good size breakfast, then a light lunch and a late afternoon snack of yogurt and fruit. This leaves me about 600 calories for dinner. 3 to 4 oz turkey, 1/2 C mashed potatoes, no stuffing (sad, but I would rather have the potatoes) 1/4 C cranberry sauce, 2 tbl gravy, green beans - unless they are in a casserole, whatever other fresh veggies are available, and for dessert, pumpkin pie but I'm skipping the crust. I think I can do it.

You can do anything you put your mind to! It sounds like you have it all planned out so don't stress too much about it. You seem to know what you should and should not have so trust yourself. Good luck!0

sounds like a GREAT plan. when i plan, i do sooo much better.
you may want to go with some raw peppers, cucumbers, zucchini for your snack instead of the fruit....fewer calories. one day of exchanging more veggies than fruit won't throw your balance of fruit/veggies for the day.
planning works!!!0 -
