@Scott6255 ugh, the glowing ball of doom is definitely more the issue than the temp. I was watching it rise as I was running today. It seemed to come up VERY fast.

Sigh. My weight keeps going the wrong direction. Last week it was up 2 pounds and today another 1.5 pounds. My measurements went up from last month too. I've been eating about the same calories as I was before (around 2200). I feel I've been making better choices. I did start weights again this week (plan to do 2x per…

Monthly question When I was little I wanted to do the luge. Lol

There was no breeze this morning. It was oppressive out there. With yesterday as a rest day it was a bit of a struggle today. No rhythm. No groove. Lots of walking. Had to stop at home around the half way point (TMI: Between glutening and vacation my poop schedule is all off and twice this week I've had to stop at home…

Another 5 this morning. 90° and only 40% humidity so not as sweaty as yesterday 🤣 I can't believe I miss the dry heat of years past 🤣🤣🤣 (don't tell dh I said that!) 20/192

@penguinmama87 Re shoes: I can get about 500 running miles on my Brooks. Then they get rotated to walking/bum around shoes. 500 is fairly average for running shoes. Some can only get 300-400, some can get closer to 1k. You may get some feedback when shoes start to go. For me, I start getting shin splints. I went out this…

The last couple weeks of July weren't fun. Back at it this month. I didn't read through everything I missed while on vacation without service. We got caught in a flash flood. I put together a video from it. https://youtu.be/1K45feTHJac

July was a *kitten* show. We are putting that behind us. 😉 August plan calls for 192 miles. A few of those days I'm not sure how I'll get 7 miles in before going into the office so we will see! 10/192

He did have aftershockz. He said he sweat too much for them. I have them as well and sweat a lot. They don't see rain too much here but get super sweaty in the summer.

I only could eat about 800 calories yesterday due to be of glutened. I will probably make up for it today. Always get so hungry the few days after. Another rest day for me because of it. Maybe back at it Friday.
-
Well, this has been a month. Got glutened last night so no run today. Hopefully tomorrow.

We had leather seats for awhile. I don't think we ever used towels on them. The best part was they were heated in winter! Lol Forgot to weigh myself this morning. I have a reminder on my phone but I woke up earlier than our alarm is set for and started making/eating oatmeal so I could get out for my run. I'll try to…

Scheduled for 6. Decided to see how much I could do. Felt great at mile 5 so I was like might as well do 6! At 5.5 I regretted my decision. 🤣 Kept going and got my 6 in. Weather: 82° and 65% humidity at 530 am 39 miles so far. I might get 50 for the month 😬

I haven't been on here this week. No real reason except being busy! This week has been strange. I posted in the monthly board about how comical it was to try to get a run in this week! We are trying to refinance the house. Work has been crazy with people leaving and trying to fill all the positions. I'm trying to adjust to…

I finally got out for a run today (a full week later). Monday was the let's make sure I'm not sick day, and I felt back to normal so I was going to go out Tuesday morning. I woke up and felt like I hadn't slept. So then I was like I will go out Wednesday. Woke up to thunder an hour before my alarm. Still going to go out…

Finally feeling better today! I'll get back to working out tomorrow. The IRS is nuts. Back in January I requested a pin thing for ID theft. It's supposed to take up to 14 days (per the form and website). I keep getting letters that they need 60 more days to investigate. BUT if I owe I can still make payments. 🙄 I don't…

After 3 days of upset stomach and fatigue, I woke up today to normal tired and no upset stomach! I'll get back to work tomorrow!

@kgirlhart one house I run by every now and then got a dog. Or they are keeping front door open. Twice I've gone by and been startled vy the dog only because I'm not expecting it. I usually know which yards have the dogs (and now chickens) after running around here for 10+ years

I'm on day 4 of no run. First 2 were planned rest days. Yesterday and today woke up with no energy and upset stomach. Tried Yesterday got half a mile and turned around. Didn't even try today
-
I've been struggling this week. Tried to run Friday after 2 rest days but didn't have the energy. Stomach was upset. Felt better in the afternoon and evening so thought I'd be good today. Nope. Woke up tired with upset stomach again. Took a nap this afternoon. Still feel tired but stomach is feeling better.

Been around 40% humidity mostly. Last weekend after a monsoon rolled through we had 80% humidity. THAT was the worst.
-
The heat is coming again. Lows in the 90s for the next weekish. Long run will be fun this weekend!
-
@kgirlhart I'm cracking up at the donkey having his own home. 🤣
-
@Avidkeo wow, that part about the kids is heartbreaking. I hope he doesn't really mean it and was only reacting in anger/pain.
-
@teresa502 nah, my mp is fine. It was an off day. Have done plenty of speed work at that pace and faster including last week.
-
@shanaber I'm so sorry about Hilde. Death is never easy. Death certificates always seem to take a few weeks. My dad's took longer because a full autopsy was requested to determine specific cause (there really wasn't anything). My uncle's was faster because we knew and didn't need the full autopsy. Insurance can take 6…

Failed 4x1 @ Marathon Pace this morning. I did 3x1 and only hit goal pace on #2. The first one I was close but just a tad slow. The third one included some walking so I was like 2 minutes slower than goal pace. I didn't even attempt the 4th. 29/125
