I've been reading here & running. But weight training has fell to the wayside again. Just not enough time & energy for everything. I just can't find a good time for it. I was doing it at lunch on telework days but then had to skip lunch because of an appointment and got off track. Someday I'll figure it all out 🤣

7 miles this morning. Nothing really noteworthy. My allergies are making my skin and nose itch like crazy especially while running. 118/145
-
Same. I hate plans that are by time because I have to keep going for a nice mileage number
-
I did that once. And not even close to 50. I thought my legs were gonna fall off 🤣 Per David, he does this after runs on his Subaru and it looks a lil X rated.

6 of 7 miles this morning. I was tired and suddenly got attacked by mosquitoes in mile 5. Like 6 of them biting me at once. I was so itchy after I had to call it. 111/145 (new attainable goal s9nce 192 isn't happening 🤣)

6 miles this morning. Just a little tightness on the hip. Stretched at about mile 4 and helped. 105/192 or 140 lol

ADA: Often employers have to have employees go back to doctor and clarify things so they know exactly what the issue is to determine how/if they are able to accommodate. Then they need to have an interactive process with you to discuss what you need and what the employer can do. So while the school may have been able to…

Thanks! Not sure why I didn't look at reviews 🤦🏼♀️ Nike says true to size but most reviews say they run small and go up half a size.
-
I'm looking at going back to Nike from Brooks. Does anyone run in fly knits? Do you still go up half a size? My last nikes were in like 2013 and not fly knit.

Stretched a bit this morning and went out for scheduled 5 miles to do as much as I could. I went slow and after every mile I stretched. Finshed all 5. Felt tight, not painful this morning. Stretched and iced when I got home. 99/192 (so close to 100 ugh!)
-
Set out for 16 miles today but at 4 miles I turned around and walked home for a total of 5.6 miles. I had some pain on the outside of my left hip (IT band?) that kept getting worse as I ran and started to affect my gait. I stretched before I turned for home and it helped a bit. I iced it a bit when I got home. I am trying…

Scale went down again this week. Weight is still way too high but baby steps! And I got out today for my scheduled run. More baby steps LOL
-
Geez, I go away for a week and miss @7lenny7 's return! Welcome back! Finally got back out today. Only 79 degrees and 60% humidity. Did my scheduled 8 miles 89/192 (definitely won't be hitting 192 after missing a week!)

I've been trying MIA this week. I fell off the training wagon for various reasons (allergies, forgot to change alarm, tired af, and the heat has finally gotten to me). Besides yesterday, I've been logging food and trying to eat a little less knowing I haven't worked out.
-
Hi, I'm Jenna and I fell off the training wagon. I can see it in the distance but I don't want to hop back on. 👋🏻
-
Only in summer. Because heat. Winter weekends? I enjoy coffee before heading out.
-
Well, what the heck. I know I posted in here this morning about my weight going the right direction today but now it's gone!

It's funny how running can be so difficult one day and easy the next. Yesterday felt like I wanted to throw in the towel and today? Legs were like YAYYYYYYY RUNNING! I was scheduled for 8 and signed up for Pat's Run 10k (virtual) so I did a mile warm up, ran my 10k at a smidge past easy, and then did a mile cool down. It…

Today was one of those couldn't get going and didn't want to run but went out and slowly slogged through 5 miles. 73/192
-
I updated my meals goal the other day but it hasn't updated in my diary. But if I go into the goals/settings it shows the new numbers. Sigh. Get your *kitten* together MFP! LOL
-
An easy 6 miles this morning. I decided to take short walk breaks every mile while I sip water. It was warm and really humid for Phoenix. I kept getting gnats stuck to me and my watch was spinning around my wrist. LOL It was like 80 degrees (woo!) and almost 80% humidity (boo!). 68/192

@shanaber I probably would have responded with, "really? When I put her the crate she seemed fine"

Happy birthday @skippygirlsmom 🎉🍰

@Scott6255 that's why I gave up on speed work for August. When the lows are 90° it's nearly impossible (for me) to get excited about & properly execute speed work. 5 miles in the rain today. Ok, a light sprinkle. Felt like I needed more sleep. 62/192

This year looks like a thin puffy jacket. I really like how it looks. Oh and chocolate 🍫 😋
-
I was supposed to do 7 miles today but was only able to get in 6. Stupid job interfering with my training! 🤣 57/192
-
@shanaber I had thought about that as well but I don't want to eat just to eat. If I'm not hungry I don't want to shovel food in. I'm trying to eat a little before running and after but both times are hard for me. I struggle to eat at 4 or 5 am and then usually not hungry after. I've been drinking chocolate milk after long…

15 miles today. Hot out. Tried a new route, not gonna work unless they cut the weeds (no sidewalks). I ran the first 8, ran/walk the next 2 and the last 5 were mostly walking. 51/192
-
@quilteryoyo I am exercising about the same, no real changes. If I drop anymore calories I will be starving. I'm not overeating but am listening to hunger queues. I'm not eating to eat. This year has been weird for me weight wise. Exercise has been consistent. Food pretty consistent and my weight just goes up and down as…

I forgot to enter my run info. I decided last month to do the Scooby Doo virtual 5k. Had to be done before end of August to log your time. My marathon plan was 5 miles so I set up my garmin for 1 mile warm up, 5k, and 1 mile cool down. I finished my 5k in 37-ish minutes (12:06 average pace). It wasn't fast but I wasn't…
