  • I always fit them into my daily goal. I eat something sweet almost everyday.
  • My family and I travel a lot. When we travel I know we will always stop at Wendy's and so I plan it: half salads or chili. I also bring string cheese, water and grapes. Once I pull out the grapes the whole car is eating them. Once we are settled in a hotel/place I can do pretty good.
  • Cheat meals? I eat pizza every week and I just fit it into my daily goal. If I go over that day I don't stress it as there are days I don't meet my goal so over the course of a week I'm still within goal.
  • I eat back at least half. Let's say you have your calories set to 1500 a day and burn about 500 then you are netting only 1,000 calories for that day which to me is way too low.
  • Sounds interesting. I"m in. 50lbs to lose total
  • Nice work! I know it works as I've done it in the past and lost a lot of inches. Need to start back for the New Year.
  • A motivation for me is to see what time my favorite shows come on and go to the gym during that time to watch while I'm doing the elliptical or walking. Otherwise I'll just be home watching them on the couch. I also love classes so that's a great motivation for me as well.
  • Measurements are a great way to see progress when the scale wont' budge.
  • I don't go to the gym. But I walk or run every morning and right now i'm doing JIllian Michaels 30DS and after that will change to another dvd. The good think about 30ds is there's different levels so you change it up every couple of days.
  • Hey everyone, I've ditched my scale. Well mostly because i'm moving and it hasn't budged below 163 and I was getting obsessed. I only WI once a week but it was driving me crazy all week and to only step on it and say the same number. So I'm convinced it's broke:) so it's in the trash now. I think without the scale I will…
  • I love it plain:) But I also eat it with fruit. While the hubby is having icecream I eat this with fruit and it's so satisfying with fruit. I also make a dressing with it.
  • Hello everyone! I turned 30 in July with hopes of being where I wanted to be by then and I was last year but gained back the 20 I lost. I started 5:2 in March and lost 13lbs quick but I also felt very sick: nauseous, tired, cranky, etc. So I stopped. I gained back some of it but not all of it and wanted to try it again. I…
  • It's most likely your shoes and the fact that you just started.. How old are your shoes? Are they running shoes? Also take it easy at first then build up. You might want to follow a beginners running routine.
  • I have degenerative disc disease. My back is really messed up. So on days I feel great I swim, walk, do Pilates and you can even do the elliptical, recumbent bike, basically any low impact exercise. I used to be a runner too and i used to spin but spin hurts my back a bit so I don't do it anymore. When I do get back spasms…
  • I woud love to know this as well. I do 10 laps of freestyle, 10 laps of breaststroke, 5 backstrokes, 5 kicks with board using one hand to swim and then 10 laps of alternating between freestyle and breaststroke. I just log under light/moderate. This usually ends up being about 30 minutes. Not sure how big the pool at my…
  • Thanks that's what I was looking for. I did some search on the internet and 150 is needed for general healthy but more like 250-300 for weight loss. This week i'm averaging 150 so need to extend my walks to maybe an hour and my swimming to 45minutes.
  • @cwolfman13-Well training for a half marathon is how I got my back injury. I was looking more for weight loss. @ayalowich i'm a sahm so I get plenty of exercise mon-fri while the kids are in school so the weekends are my 2 days off. It's summer so i've had to adjust my schedule which means exercising when my husband gets…
  • It's not for everyone. I lost about 1.3 per week BUT I started to feel: very nauseous, dizzy, sleepy, no energy, shaking, etc. i even took a preggo test and got blood work and my Dr. said everything was fine and to stop the 5:2 as My Dr. Recommended this to me so he thought it was the 5:2. I gained 9 of what I lost back…
  • I do love water aerobics. This one instructor had us doing circuits in the water with pool equipment and it felt like I was lifting weights. Who knew you could be huffing and puffing in a water aerobics class. I'm learning to get over the fact I can't run and am actually enjoying swimming and pilates. I've never done…
  • I have 20lbs to lose too. I gained 20lbs since last August so need to lose it again but last year I was running and I can't run anymore due to back issues so trying other things like pilates, swimming, etc. Difference between last year and this year: last year I was running and eating healthy without dieting and the weight…
  • Definitely get bloodworm done. I have the same problem. I'm always lightheaded especially if I sit up too quick,or workout too hard. Found out I have thalassemia which is a rare blood disorder that makes it looks like you have low iron so basically my whole life I thought I was anemic and I'm not. Red blood cells are low…
  • Wow my mouth dropped open when I saw the after pics. You look fantastic!
  • Truth be told they are Into their workout and not really thinking of you, but you can always go for a walk or do workout videos in your hotel room.
  • My other tattoos wouldnt' matter if I gained or lose but I was concern about the one on my back and it's the same. I went from 140-215 back down to 145 and been up/down the same 10lbs.
  • Hi. Feel free to add me. I have celiac disease and have been gluten free for 2 1/2years.
  • Can totally see a difference. You look great.
  • It's really up to you. I like to workout after breakfast but before lunch.

  • 1lb a week is not slow. That's actually good. You need to eat more.
  • Your weight fluctuates everyday. I can weigh: 157 on Monday and 161 on Tuesday. I only weigh myself once a week.
