I read the whole 15 page story and I really don't know what happened.

WTG! It looks great on you!

This is truly fantastic. And accurate.

I can't agreed with you more! And it bugs me that the poor 3 year old has no hair! Oh, and his little sister repeats every single thing that is said, yet can't form a sentence on her own. Arrrgh! Ok, I think I feel better now. Thanks.

Losing weight and you quit smoking? Congrats! You have great commitment and determination. You should be so proud of yourself. You look great!

What a gorgeous dog! i vote for the name Blu. He just looks too cute for being diesel! IMHO

At first I hated exercise. I would look at the timer (I forced 30 minutes 5 days a week) and moan, "I still have 15 minutes!?" UGGH! But back then it hurt to do jumping jacks, and I would feel like I would die after 5 minutes. Then I started getting stronger and stronger. The stronger I got, the more fun it got. Now I have…

This all made me smile.

Thank you everyone for posting your before and after pictures! So motivating! I can't wait to get to the 130s! This just makes me want to work harder!

Thank you to everyone that responded. This makes me feel so much better. And I need skinnier jeans but just in the legs. I am actually impressed with how my legs look. I could almost call them sexy. However my waist... not so much. Thanks again everyone!

I am 5'5 I started at 195 in a tight 18. now I am 175 and a comfortable 18. My legs need a size 14 but my waist needs the 18. SOOOOOO Frustrating!

And I need my cheat day. It's the one day I allow myself to have my favorite cereal. I usually don't throw the whole day off, but I eat my Cinnamon Toast Crunch and whatever else I have been craving during the week. It works for me.

I loved reading your story. It's very inspiring. I wish you continued success.

Weigh 169 by Memorial Day weekend. Run 3 days a week. (increase my endurance)

I aim for 1240 to 1400. I do at least 30 minutes of cardio 5 or 6 days a week. I am averaging 1.3 pounds a week. Some weeks I lose 2.5 pounds, others I lose just 0.5. Once I lost 5 pounds in one week. And one week I gained 0.8. When averaging it all up it equals 1.33 pounds lost per week.

Excellent job! This makes me want to try this 30 day shred thing. Everyone's doing it... oooh the peer pressure! I actually have the DVD too. I am training for my first 5K first though. One thing at a time for me! Anyway, great job on the great results!

I ate fast food almost every day. I started out with just a normal sized meal and hardly finished it. Then, the bigger I got the more food I'd eat. Soon I would upgrade to the large fries. Eventually it got to the point where the meal would make me feel full, well actually over full, so I would eat cookies or something…

If I go 3 days with out a bm I eat a fiber bar. I normally poop within an hour of that. I just like to keep things moving. :blushing: Besides, who wants to step on a scale with all that inside their gut?

Jem! (She's truly outrageous) What's your favorite card game?

Do what you can. Don't focus on what you can't. Today you got off the couch and turned on the DVD and did 10 minutes. That's more than you did yesterday. When I first started I would do dvd's and when I got too tired my goal was to just keep moving. Even if they were doing jumping jacks I would just lift my legs... just to…

Confessions of the MFP dieters... I weighed 195 pounds when I started. Now I weigh 179. My pants were uncomfortably tight when I started. Now they fit nicely. My shirts were tight and fit nicely now too. (they were really tight around my chest area) I lost a lot of weight in my chest, neck and legs, and not so much from my…

While working at an apartment complex we could see the work out area on our security screen. We had a guy that chose to eat his morning donut while WALKING on the treadmill. :noway:

Interesting you say this. My plan is to have professional pictures done with my daughter. The first pictures of me and her since she was born almost 5 years ago.

I guess that depends on your definition of accurate. If you expect it to predict the exact pound you will be in 5 weeks, then no it's not accurate. But if you expect it to predict within a couple of pounds, I find it accurate. However, it's hard to say exactly because I eat differently every day. Sometimes it tells me I'll…

Mine fluctuates too. I have recently changed from weighing in weekly to every 2 weeks. My average still equals a 1.3 pound weight loss per week. I hate seeing those weeks that I "gain" so I stopped doing it weekly. And I only measure once every 4 weeks.
