  • yup, if you're close enough you could probably start now. Just add 50-100cal more for the first week and continue to do so until you see weight stablize.

  • They also make black bean noodles, lentil pasta, and other alternatives. They all range 180 -210 cal for 2 oz but maybe a different macro composition. Lentils are kind of a soft version pasta. I like them more al dente.
  • I've done Diet Sprite and Tequila for years. I now switched to gin and tonics but now excited to hear of sugar-free tonic. I don't drink much and not knowledgeable but going out at conferences tequila is a bit of a shock value to others.
  • That's averaging 1468cal a day. That isn't the worst binge is those numbers are correct. If you don't strict so much 5 days a week it won't be so scary coming up to the 6th.
  • I lost the good weight in maybe 9 months. I had no goals. In fact I started it because other coworkers were doing it and I was curious. I have been overweight since puberty and figured why not. Lost 15-20lb and was pretty happy. I wanted to hit 100lb but with my clothes I was having hard enough time finding dress pants in…
  • I'm surprised they didn't censor that... Oreo Fluff is cream cheese whipped with condensed milk I think and folded with cool whip and broken oreos. I'm sure you could do a protein fluff with a cookies n' cream powder and fold in some cookies though. May not be as sweet/rich. I could probably eat the whole thing then.
  • I've use a cheap little milk frother. It works well enough to make a work. My problem is finishing it before it gets cold... Coconut Oil and butter is not so pleasant at 68*
  • This quickly turned into "What you can do with the Oreo" and I like it! Those slut brownies were done right! My husband loves Oreos so we done those, Oreo Fluff, Oreo Cakeballs, deep fried Oreo, cookie dipped, etc. Oreo fluff is so rich I can be down with 1/4 cup sometimes.
  • Golden Birthday Cake, I'm not a huge fan of Golden alone but the birthday cake? Oh yeah! Cookie dough was good but I think they are in hiding (from me I bet).
  • Also the scale could be losing muscle and fat equally vs when you workout.
  • Yeah I think some greek yogurt like half cup plain maybe sweeten with honey and add some chopped nuts and berries?
  • Log what you eat. Eat only if you're truly hungry and not bored/emotional/stressed. Use veggies as your starting plate and fill up on the good stuff, then add protein and good fats. If you do well 80% of the time, you can have 20% for your sanity. (Who said you couldn't leave room for dessert?) Sure calories in vs calories…
  • I've heard of epsom salt soaks for soreness (magnesium salts) but never thought about the supplement for that reason. I take Magnesium at night once a day or so. I read somewhere its helpful for restful sleep or something, I can't recall at this point. Try examine.com for uses.
  • Couple of eggs over sauteed spinach with some salsa. Yolks have good nutrients but you can add a few more egg whites for volume.
  • Well if you insist on sticking to it try red wine vinegar, mustard, and garlic for savory. Maybe explore more into fresh basil, cilantro, and chives. Fruit for sweet if its even allowed.
  • Pay attention to not over hydrate. I looked at your sodium count from yesterday and its maybe 50% which can be fine and dandy. (Most often those numbers are not entered in on food entries.) However, if you're sweating you're extracting the sodium and potassium your nervous system needs to function. Drinking plain water…
  • No kidding, it was trying too hard to hide it with the fruit that it defeats the purpose.
  • Soynuts, diary (cottage cheese, greek yogurt, cheeses), tofu, lentils, black beans, fish (some don't consider it a meat). Just read labels or punch it in to the database (assuming it was entered in properly.)
  • Its based off the idea that vinegar or lemon acid breaks down the bone's vitamin richness and collagen ligaments. Highly concentrated nutrient elixir. You are to use only animals that were pasture raised for the extra clean benefits. If its easy enough to get, why not try it. Couldn't hurt unless the acid levels tear down…
  • I tried the Exo, the protien texture was fine but I absolutely hated the flavor. The dates were too much and not enough cocoa. I was looking for chocolate not fruit. I ended up throwing both bars out after two bites. One to try it the second to really make sure I didn't like it. I can usually finish anything but it was to…
  • College students walking around campus is more than sedentary. Light to moderate depending on if you live in a dorm or park far from campus. How many classes do you attend and how large is the campus?
  • Add for texture some have been said above like avocado, xanthan gum or gaur gum, flaxseed, chia seeds soaked, dry oatmeal, cream of tartar works for meringue so this might with egg whites (not tested, theoretical). Some do Egg yolk. Fats are great emulsifiers. Just gotta experiment and see what you like. I personally love…
  • Just because you are eating fat does not mean you'll get fat. You are still under 1250cal? Low-fat diets can easily gain weight if you miss your calorie target entirely. Maybe your diet style is just more satisfying with higher percentage of fat than say carb or protein. Some people thrive on it. It is true 1g of fat has…
  • I will eat separately if I can and steal a piece or two. The steamed veggies and chicken sounds smart though. My husband hates eating and I don't (particularly when we are out and about. At home it isn't too much of an issue.) If we are at home and I have the mojo to do so, I will make a lighter version recipe like…
  • In college, I lived in the dorms and we had this grill we could use our meal plan at. I thought the contest as for a turkey meal. Nope! A big frozen butterball turkey breast. My dorm fridge wasn't gonna hold it. Who gives that to a college student in dorms? I managed though with the trunk of my car in Wisconsin. My cousin…
  • How old are your kids? You can workout at home and involve them. Kids are great weight-lifting tools. Body-weight strength like push-ups and squats are great ways to boost the bust and booty. Take them out for a walk or biking. Whatever way makes it easiest to keep on track. If they are involved they will hold you…
  • @Noreenmarie1234 I don't know if it was a fluke or what but the quest bars I bought from CyberMonday on Quest's website tasted much better than the box I got maybe back in sept at least the Chocolate Chunk. Now the boxes I got from GNC (Banana Nut) were the new formula too but they were hard like rocks (which the new…
  • I do the can of tuna with CC but also pasta sauce. When heated its a great cheesy mess on top of spaghetti squash.
  • I might sit and watch a whole movie. I get antsy sitting for so long.
