There is also the volume scaling. 2 quart sized crockpot? Filled will make 8 cups. Could also eyeball the level the food sits at and then when empty add that amount of water 1cup at a time to figure how many cups total. It may not be the greatest but if you insist on guesstimating this is better than nothing.

I glimpse an article once stating that those that workout but then sit at a desk all day don't reap the benefits like those that are constantly active. So if it keeps you going and its not a trouble between the two I'd say the breaks throughout the day may be better. But again I GLIMPSED however it seemed logical.

At some point I grew up figuring things out. My mom worked full time with 4 kids and dad worked out of town. In 8th grade I decided I wasn't going to eat red meat anymore. They would go to McD's and I learned to cook up a mean grilled chicken breast.

I would suggest bringing your own "dish" to pass. That way you don't seem ungrateful. Mixed veggies and dip do well.

My workouts can get pretty intense so I don't eat beforehand. Too much food in the belly and running and jumping would just make me feel like a slug. I workout first thing in the morning. I drink BCAA until much later too. I've been getting stronger so I don't think my muscle has broken down any from this style.

Easy fix, thankfully. Clip a "V" in the middle of the nail. It will take off some of the pressure as it grows back.

You have found my #1 weakness. I was covered in salt and sugar sitting in a food coma before I could stop eating the salted caramel ones. I will only buy if it is a super awesome absolutely ridiculous sale. Though they sell them in individual sizes at my local grocery!
