Don't forget about calorie dense foods like avocado, oils, full fat dairy if you can handle lactose and nut butters. Give me a spoon and cashew butter and you have to fight me to take it away again. Expect scratch marks. If you're expecting to get pregnant be careful to read med labels. Side effects can be bad for future…

Yeah 400 cal is nothing in fast food cal counting... I mean Applebees advertises "lite" dishes as anything under 500 and they are petite. I would agree with an above poster that you need to try a week not eating out. It sucks but eating out won't give you the results you want.

So in working a particular muscle group we are actually creating tears in the fiber. We repair when we rest so be diligent with getting a good amount of sleep. Also, make sure to eat enough. The first calories we eat are used to fuel our daily needs like keeping your heart beating and brain thinking. If we go into deficit…

Those are some awesome stats. This inspires me to be more thorough so one day I can look back and see what worked and what didn't. Thank you for sharing!

I wouldn't say sworn off but foods I find myself turning down often enough its been YEARS since i've had it: Cheesecake (though this had to be a favorite dessert for years) Restaurant tortillas (most dishes I ask to alter in one way, shape or form) High-fructose sodas Chips Ahoy (If I need a cookie I go for the real thing)…

I go sweet for my popcorn. Stevia, cinnamon and a pinch of salt.

Airpopped popcorn has been a staple for me. Add some stevia, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt and you have a great voluminous treat. Plain Greek yogurt with the right amount of protein powder can be a like a mousse or cheese cake. Blended avocado with protein powder, ice cubes and almond milk and you can get a soft serve ice…

My guess is you will be eating sticks of butter to get to that amount...

I would also do the cereal. I would preemptively set myself up. I had bran flakes so that it would be mostly fiber because the mindset is that it would not ALL turn into fat. I just needed the chewing, eating and feeling full even if it was to disgustingly full. Jars of nut butters went fast. Sometimes I would have a bag…

If he has to have something bad at your place may it please be something you wouldn't touch hungry or not. My husband loves toaster strudels and sausage pizzas. I buy enough of those to keep him happy but I would never touch them. They are just yuck to me. If he can't respect your healthier eating requests then he'll have…

It is also known as homeostasis. The body's need to create balance.

Never try drinking it cold...

This also sounds like the point of "reverse dieting." Its a long progression to add back calories to maintenance like @giolis was mentioning. You add 50-100 cal a day to your original deficit each week until you stabilize. I've heard of it but never practiced. I have always been in"diet mode" since I've started calorie…

Remember to keep fully hydrated, too. I mix in some BCAA to my water. I don't get to drink most of it until after the WOD and that helps fend off some hunger. If I wait too long in a day I tend to eat back every calorie regardless. I seem to be maintaining which isn't a problem if my body recomps.

I was suggested it might be tight leg muscles. Do you warm up properly and stretch after? I didn't do much stretching after weighed squats today and I'm feeling "knee pain". This never happened with air squats. *shakes fist*

us.canadianprotein.com I like the Whey isolate from grass-fed with stevia. It gets a bit gummier when mixed with greek yogurt (I assume the guar gum as the cogulated does this). Mint is not outstanding but the chocolate is good flavor-wise. Overall, for the price and quality I'm excited about their stuff.

Its not how or when you eat your protein. Its the rest period that actually builds the muscle. Assuming you're not downing all protein just before bed your body should have absorbed anything you ate throughout the day and will now utilize it properly.

Two words. Nut butters. Like cashew butter, peanut butter, almond butter, etc.

@ Mario_Az FANTASTIC IDEA! The others will never know!

Take a crossfit starting class. Super fun, I promise!

This would be my dream but when I tried, it did not work. I get too caught up in food and over eat if I don't count. Kudos to you!

Now say, "I don't eat chocolate and if you comment anything about it I will stab you." Then MAYBE people will hold their tongue. We love to share opinions. It is what I am doing right now!
-
There will always be comments no matter what you say you are. Say you're a vegetarian and people ask "You mean you don't miss bacon?!" Say you're allergic to gluten, "Oh, that's just a fad!" Eating is like a religion. Its a community thing that can either bond with or exclude other people just by your way of life.

Cooking and general food preparing I have found somewhere. At least I have it in my history for exercise. When you are really pulling for those last couple calories!

It was made with cake batter... That counts!

Definitely about respect, every thing else will follow. If you cannot respect her neither of you are good for the other.
-
It was an exaggeration of course though if you watch scale only, the water weight that comes with it could easily be 5lb together.
-
No that's about right for an analogy. My husband obsesses about sex as much as I do about food. Both may be hormone driven. (well we know sex is)
-
Eat it and instantly gain 5 lbs back after a binge. She could but her decision seems sound to me.
-
What were you eating at before? Reverse dieting I've read about but have never gotten the chance to play around with it. (Too many binge rewards...) If you were at 1200 before, 1300-1400 seem good for the next 2 weeks and build from there. Also, watch your weekly banking. Not every day you'll hit on the money so you can…
