don't lose heart...it could be as simple as gaining muscle mass...at some point the number on a scale means nothing...if you're doing everything right, just keep at it...its for the long run, not just for those lbs to lose now and gain back later. Do a BIA (using one of those fancy weight machines that can give body…

I am always in awe of people able to run marathons...its not something i can ever see myself doing! Keep up the great work

so that's what it is called. Always wanted to do one of those, as I believe that the ideal weight (85 kg) for me given my skeletal structure is not in the realm of possibility. Just depended on BIA measures from weight machines. wish you luck with the strength training, I need to do those as well.

Speedy recovery mate and wish you all the best.

I do agree that inches matter at some point more... Ppl are not formulas that are calculated perfectly... But it is still nice to see that scale tip the other way as well... Keep it up
-
Ah... So familiar with these calls... For me staying under the Calorie goal is what counts. So what if I eat Papa John's... Make it thin crust to eat more than regular crust and enjoy myself 😂
-
Keep it up... Must keep track daily...I found missing a day could easily cause a spiral.
-
I think I messed up the weigh in... The initisl one posted was for the first week as I weigh in on Saturdays or Sundays so I am still weighing in tomorrow which would be the loss (gulp gain) for this past week. As for the daily chalnages and up till March 4th Track: yes Calorie: yes Exercise: yes At my current weight…

It is kind of annoying how bad access to the groups or discussion you are in is! There must be a smarter way to get here in like 2 clicks 😅

Great article, gonna update my exercising to include weight lifting (had planned later down the road). However how about playing sports...I burn a very decent amount of calories (1637) in 45 mins playing squash? Also gonna add Bball to the mix.

I'd burn a 726 :D But I guess it mostly has to do with weight, the higher the BMI, the easier it is to lose weight or burn more calories

Hopefully using MFP will make food decisions a wiser choice. :) It definitely is a lot of help to me I'll be rooting for you.

The first couple of month is where I can capitalize on the weight loss, and gain enough momentum to get me through the harder stages...Once I am in better shape, I will want to start playing more sports actively and hopefully that should maintain the drive and progress me further down my path. I decided to let go of my…
