When you signed up to MFP what did you say your activity level was?

I'll add you. Networking and supporting each other is why we should be here ;)

Excellent point!!!! If you are trying to lose a ton of weight then selecting sedentary even if you work out 6 days a week as I do is the way to go. Very good point I was wondering how here daily allowance was so high with a 2lbs a week goal.

Hello Penejoe I really understand your frustration, but to add to the great advice that was given before I can tell you that a food scale works wonders! I paid 18 bucks for mine and it has taken me to another level. Accurately counting the calories we take in is very important. Also judging by your diary you went passed…

Exercises for lazy people = oxymoron. I know because I used to be lazy

Excellent info very much appreciated.

I'm looking to buy one too, so I'm looking fwd to more ppl commenting on this. I hear buying the cheap ones is a waste of money because they are very inaccurate.

I want a dog so bad it's killing me, but I know with my schedule I would not be able to give it the amount of discipline and attention it needs. Hoping I get lucky and start dating a nice lady with a dog or two. Congrats btw and I also agree that adopting from a rescue is the way to go. My support comes from 4 of my…

I love the fact that you're not satisfied. That's great fuel to keep a fire burning. I think you've done a great job so far. Don't be too hard on yourself you look great.

You are blessed with a great figure. I have a good friend who is an avid runner and she told me she went from a DD down to a D, but I didn't even notice because other parts of her body were smaller as well. Either way she is still very shapely. You don't lose genetics through diet and exercise, so don't worry too much…

I honestly want to hear a story about someone who lived off of less than 1200 cal a day and was able to keep the weight off for more than a year. I just don't see how ppl are doing this without their metebolic rate crashing to the floor. I also think a lot of ppl need to start consulting doctors before they start diet…

This works great until its time to show and prove lol. I would be soooo mad.

Great job I'm really happy for you. Keep up the good work and keep drinking that water!

Great job OP! Yeah the socks are used to keep the shins warm and to protect against the bar irritating the shins since at the start of the lift the bar should always be in contact with them. Great for the ladies so they don't scratch up their pretty legs lol.

My simple approach is to eat only complex carbs and eat just enough that I need for energy. A quarter a cup of brown rice won't do any harm. Find how much your body needs to get you through a day feeling energized and alert and don't overindulge. Those of us who strength train need carbs for muscle growth as well.…

I'm still trying to figure out how some ppl are working out to their maximum and living on 1200 calories a day lol. I can see how this could work minus the exercise, but as previously stated it would seem to do more harm than good. Even though a person may see results it would seem their metabolic rate would have slowed…

I agree with this. Water in foods and items like protein shakes all count, but use baby steps to get to the point where you are drinking more clear water. What I did was go cold turkey on sodas and fruit juices. I only have a powdered 0 cal mix with my meals. Any other time that I'm thirsty I drink straight water. That…

I eat steel oats with protein powder, cinnamon and sometimes a teaspoon of peanut butter. I don't add sugar to anything anymore.

Whoa!!!!! You carry 174 like a champ. You look great.

As another member posted you can use light weight to warm up or simple calisthenics to get the heart rate up. Don't run on a treadmill or ride a bike for 20-30 min and expect optimal performance during your weight training.

Ppl need to stop trying to convert other ppl as if they've been privy to certain information since they were born. Sometimes ppl just need to learn through trial and error. The OP was right about a lot of things he wrote, only issue I have is man sometimes ppl just need to learn on their own. If ppl have different…

I assume you're talking about working overnight, if so it's always nice to know a fellow vampire lol. I was really serious about my fitness until about 2010 when I started working the overnight shift. I quickly gained 35 lbs and never thought twice about it. I started working out again about 2 months ago and got serious…

And I always though fairy tales were for books only...congrats to the both of you!

Best advice I can give is to stay away from the free sites. Had two bad experiences on Plenty of Fish. I would recommend EHarmony or Match.

Mad gainz!! Looking great keep it up.
