Great job congrats. Sounds like you had a lot of fun!

^ This. True and simple.

You're doing strength training so you're probably gaining muscle and also at 5'8" 124lbs you are far from fat! You're working out hard so keep that up and as the others said...EAT!

I don't believe in training 7 days a week. Your muscles do need time to rest and repair just like anything else. If it's working for other ppl I won't knock it, but at some point your body will break down, not to mention training everyday makes it virtually impossible to consitently up the intensity of your sessions

+1 People convince themselves that they don't have time to prepare nutrient dense, healthy foods and the fast food corporations reinforce this with their marketing schemes. All a person needs to do is click on Youtube to find out how to cook chicken in bulk. Less time than it takes to drive to McD's and back.

I agree with this. The article suggests that a person has to eat organic in order to eat healthy and that is just hogwash. The fact is ppl are brainwashed into believing lifestyle changes are expensive by the very corporations that want them to remain addicted to high fat, salty, nutrient deficient foods.

Hi I'm Antonio, 39 years old living in Houston, TX. I've played around with kettlebells for about a year, but got really serious when I cancelled my gym membership and started working out at home about 3 months ago. My bells, my bodyweight and my stationary bike are all I need. I LOVE my bells so much. On my Sunday off day…

My sister is a serious hippie, I'm not. Give me my orange GMO and all.

I agree with you, but I have never had an issue training in a fasted state and never felt the need to eat soon after a hard training session. I always ate because I knew I 'had' to. That's why I felt this IF would help me because I'm one of those ppl who can train hard fasted.

Kettlebell circuit training 3-4 times a week and cardio 6 days a week for 40-70 minutes. One rest day on Sunday.

Two human brains and I'm far from done.

Amazing story thank you for sharing!

Protein shakes are not a necessity, they are a convenience. Getting your protein sources from food is just fine. If you don't like the shakes have an extra piece of grilled chicken. The shakes you're making look fine to me. Just be advised that with the amount of fruits you have in the shake and the almond milk the…

I could not agree more with this post . The best way to kick the sugar cans is to force water down your throat and the water drinking will become habitual in no time. Diet drinks are dangerous because they keep you dependent on 'sweetness' every time you need a drink and this makes it easier to fall back into the sugary…

Had to replace a negative addiction (not drugs or alcohol) with a positive one. It's all about the dopamine and 'good feeling' hormones for me, straight up. The better body and healthier lifestyle are just added bonuses.

What did you set you activity level and weight loss goal to when you set up your calorie tracker? I had a look at your diary and I think you're taking in too many calories.

This thread is dripping with sarcasm! Be nice ppl lol

Oh wow...what's the point of being married if you can't have sex and both ppl are physically able? Man oh man I feel for you. Glad you got out of that mess. To the OP I agree with AnninStPaul. The focus should be on your friend and not him. A true friend would have handled that situation in a flash. She is not your friend.…

I agree with CL. You don't need a nutritionist to tell you lean meats high in protein, complex carbs like whole grains, fruits and veggies, water and exercise. Save one day out of 7 for a 'food fun day' to keep your sanity. That works very well for for me. Seeing one won't hurt if you have health insurance and a…

When dealing with something that could potentially kill you? The answer should be a resounding yes. I remember when that football player from USC almost decapitated himself lifting. I always think of that when I see a guy struggling.

Bicep curls. Man I've been cursed genetically with weak biceps :-(. Ironically OHP is a strong exercise for me. My shoulders and triceps are always ok.

My ex-girlfriend suffered with anxiety attacks. That's not a laughing matter at all. Have you sought medical advice regarding this? Don't let that stop you from exercise because the hormones released in your body after a hard workout have been shown to fight depression and anxiety. You can add me if you want I'd be glad to…

Mine is open to friends feel free to add me because I'm always in need of food ideas. I'm pretty consistent during the week up until Sunday which is my fun food day :)
