can I just say....I don't like Brendan! Not sure what it is about him (kinda like SP0472 and Burgandy, lol) but I think it's the way he's "playing" the game so much. It did seem like they were voting ppl off kinda quick, so the fact that they're bringing some more on makes sense. Can't wait to try that cupcake recipe!!

Thanks everyone!!!:flowerforyou: I was (and am) so motivated by so many ppl on here and I love looking at before/after pics too. I don't have too many pics from my heavier days since I didn't like seeing them, but I found these and was surprised at how "different" I looked back then. It definitely helps to see them…

I am soooooo with you on this one!!!! :grumble: I've been doing "this" since the end of January and am losing nice and slowly, just like you're supposed to. I almost feel guilty when I sit down with my healthy choices:blushing: at work when the others are eating the crappy cafeteria foods.:noway: I totally understand how…

my hubby uses them for burritos/tacos all the time. It depends on where u shop as to where they would be. In the Super Walmart they are usually either on the little shelves in front of the deli displays or along the wall of fresh baked goods. Changes every now and then for some reason. At Redner's they are with the whole…

well, i only got mine cause i got a really good deal on ebay. i got the bodybugg for $95 and the subscription that remained transferred and is good thru Feb 2011, so I don't have to pay monthly fees! I don't think the seller knew that the subscription would transfer cause it wasn't included in the description, so i kinda…

no award, lol just self-motivating I think. and a good way to track how long you've been at it. I think if mine got reset at this point I would just turn that feature of my news feeds off! :grumble:

Awesome job !!!! :flowerforyou: You have done so great with this and I know you will do great with P90x!!! Can't wait to hear about it!! I think I'm going to start the yoga meltdown today, as I have kind of gotten bored  with the 30DS as well. Went for a power walk the other day instead of shredding, too. So I guess…

Good job on getting the shred done today!! As for the weekends, maybe you could switch your workout schedule to include the weekends. Not sure if you are doing that already, but I know you have been shredding M-F (aside from today). I know if I get up and workout in the morning, it kind of sets my mind on the right path…

it's okay. i am not sure if it tracks calories when your HR is below 100, though. I wore it when I did the 30 day shred for 30 minutes and it said I only burned 97 calories. If i were to use any other calculator for calories burned during 30 min. of circuit training, it estimates about 260. Big difference. Most ppl say…
-
you have to start the 'stopwatch' for the time that you want it to track calories. then the small number above your actual HR will scroll b/w ave HR, percent of max, and kcal (not necessarily in that order)

Awesome results!! Cograts on making it through and have fun on your vacation next week. Maybe we should start a "meltdown" thread. I am going to start it next week.

level 3, day 'something-or-other' done! today didn't feel as hard as before. still hate:devil: the rockstar jumps. but i agree that this 30 minutes goes by super fast! Happy Shredding everyone :flowerforyou:
-
I was thinking that I wasn't huffing and puffing as much during some of the circuits in level 3 as compared to level 2. But my HR seemed to stay up in the right zone more steadily, so who knows!
-
level 3 done this morning. and only a couple of 5 sec. breathers  but my damn HRM said I only burned 101 cal  I am returning it and just logging it as I was like it is 'circuit training' :ohwell: and i just bought the 'yoga meltdown' dvd today when i was at walmart. starting that after the shred. maybe i will…

Same here too! That's what I kept reading from other ppl that did the shred...not so many lbs, but lots of inches! I lost 3 lbs in the first 2 weeks, but went back up almost to where I started now. But definitely down inches and definitely more toned. And yes, the compliments are starting again!!! YAY!!!! :flowerforyou: I…

SOOOOOOOO DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!!! I finally got a HRM with chest strap today and was all excited to Shred with it on. I have been basing my calories burned on an average of what other ppl my age/hieght/weight burn doing the shred with their HRMs and thought I was burning around 250-320 cals on level 2. Today I wear my…

The scale I have been using was incorrect- my ticker shows 1 lb, but I have actually lost 6 :) Go me! you can edit your starting weight and check-in weights to reflect the more accurate ones and it will be reflected on your ticker

i've done a couple different things to get out of my plateaus... the first time I actually increased my calories from 1200 to 1400 and continued the same exercises and within a week the scale started moving. this last time i changed my workout from doing the wii active routines to doing the 30 day shred video and dropped 3…

so....i snuck  in a body measurement today even though i was going to wait until the 1st of the month like i normally do...and found out that since starting the Shred I have lost an inch from my chest, an inch from my waist, and an inch from my thigh!!!!   So totally worth the butt kicking…
-
okay, so I'm feeling a little wimpy in the arms..:ohwell: ..I only use 3 lb weights but have YET to be able to hod them thru the squats with V-raises on level 2! I can make it through all the other sets, but on the second set V-raises I have to set my weights down to continue with good form.
-
You keep me going girl!!! Thanks for staying committed and keeping me motivated!!! :flowerforyou: I actually got thru ALL of the plank janks today without switching to the modified versions!!!!! :noway:

I think i may have already said this to you in another thread, but not sure....I started doing my own stretching routine at the end of each workout day of the shred because I was really sore the first few days just doing it along with Jillian. After I started doing that, the soreness is WAY less and nearly nonexistent…
