  • there will always be ingorance in the world. period. and for those that are ignorant to knowing whom I'm referring to...it's the ignorance of thinking that a woman feeding her child is equal to any other act that should be kept behind closed doors. I see more skin on facebook and on MFP profile pics than anyone ever sees…

  • i thought the same thing. I was (slightly) concerned that I wasn't eating enough in the beginning and that the easiest way to add calories was to add "unhealthy" higher calorie treats. but now I have NOOOO problem eating plenty of calories!! lol. My portion sizes have increase (a whole banana in my cereal instead of 1/2…

  • roobean33... yes, i'm excited for tomorrow! but a little "reserved" too, i guess you could say, because I am actually hoping for another boy, and just have this feeling that it's going to be a girl. I love your profile pic, BTW, such a perfect little baby bump! ladydeee, kimmers & Brenda - thanks for the feedback on the calories. I've been going between 1850 - 2050 to find the "right" balance. I was 122lb pre-preg and have only gained…
  • Quick question .... for those of you in your 2nd trimester, how many calories are you eating? And what has your weight gain been like at that amount?
  • Well, Heather, You definitely have my support as well :flowerforyou: Just like all the other comments ppl like to offer to pregnant women...ignore them! And from what I can tell, if we can create one singular group and then there can be sub-topics within that group. Kinda like babycenter does I guess. That way we can just…
  • Sorry to you ladies with the bad/dreary weather moving in. We had a BEAUTIFUL day here and it's supposed to continue all week. • hi girls! I have "stalked" this thread a few times, but I guess I'll officially post and join in the discussions, lol! • have you already done the calculations? have you checked out the website: http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm
  • i am 35 yo, 5'4'' and 123#, when I wore my Bodybugg i would ave about 1700-1800 on a very inactive day and 2000-2200 on an active day with workouts. not a whole lot!
  • way to try to start a fight, good job. However, I never mentioned starving or eating 9000 cals.
  • Actually you can "roll over" your calories from one day to another. You do not need to have a set number of calories that doesn't change from day to day. You don't lose weight in one day....it's over a period of time. And if you create a deficit based on a weeklong period of time then you can eat more on any given day as…
  • yep, that's kind of the concept of zig-zagging. have a low cal day then a high cal day, etc. as long as it all balances out for the week you should be fine

I think for these last 2 weeks of my "6weeks" I will just to level 2 instead of alternating like I was doing. It's such a better…
  • The yolk isn't bad for you, it just adds more fat/calories. So if I want a lower calorie meal or snack with some protein I'll have a couple eggwhites. They used to say that too many whole eggs was bad for your cholesterol, but they have kind of retracted that claim. It's all in the balance.
