Well done! :)

Never weigh at night. You need to weigh once your body has settled and relaxed so first thing in the morning when you get up. Go to the toilet and then weigh yourself. Make sure you wear the same thing each weigh in.

Hi Lisa, I cant see your food diary so I cant really tell what your diet is like. However you mentioned sugar was always way over, yes this can be an issue, also you need to watch your sodium intake (salt) as this causes you to retain weight. It may be good to open your food diary up so people can give you some better…
-
Hi hun, you seem to be going over daily on your sugar intake. You have a good range of foods with a nice balance of carbs etc but I would suggest you cut down on your sugar. Also if your food contains a lot of salt (sodium) then you may just have retention which has caused the weight gain.

Yes I love the mince! I only have tried the chicken pieces but I havent tried the fillets, i'll give them a go! Do you have to cook them from frozen first?
-
I havent tried them, I like the mince and the chicken pieces. Also the Linda McCartney sausages & sausage rolls are nice but I havent found any other quorn products yet that I like/want to try!

I'm 5"4 and aiming for 126lbs :)

Thanks hunni, I've never actually tried couscous so i'll give it a go!
-
Hi, i'm 22 and 5"4 so similar in that respect. I currently weigh 132.4lbs (exact =P) and I started out 141.6lbs. I'm more than happy for you to add me as a friend and I can help motivate you :)

Thanks guys :) I was starting to put myself down for treating myself (even though it was my birthday!) but it may just be water retention. & yes cupcakes are delicious!

I also suffer very badly from IBS-C and I have done for over 10 years now so I understand what you are going through. I recommend you go for intense allergy testing (I am planning on going soon also) and find out what could trigger your intestine. Ive found it very difficult to work out my triggers which is why i'm going…

Amazing difference! Well done  your hard work has 100% paid off and you look fantastic now!

This ^^ I also find being in an office job I dont lose any weight by "eating back the calories" that everyone tells you to do.

I want a twin! Age: 22 (tomorrow!) SW: 141.6lbs CW: 135.4lbs GW: 126lbs
-
Are we talking American Sizes here or UK sizes because there seems to be a big difference but around the same weight? I'm 5'4 and currently weigh 135.4lbs (9stone 9.4pounds) and was 10stone 1.6pounds when I started a couple of weeks back. I have always been around 9 and a half stone but it keeps creeping back on so i'm…

Ditto! I burned off 1319 calories last week and put on 0.6lbs, the week before I did barely any exercise and lost 2lbs. Really don't understand!

Bump

Its a British thing, thats what's quoted on all of our food labels and it's just how we say it, nothing to do with metric etc.

Thank you for your thoughts & advice. That last picture link is very interesting, what type of foods do you have to eat for that though? I'd find it difficult to eat that many kcals in a day! Yes overall I would prefer to be toned thin not thin thin but I wanted to drop weight first (while building my knees) to start…
-
I'm building them up with the "exercises" my physio showed me, using my step up etc but I don't class this as exercise, this is purely building up the strength in my knees before I am able to use them properly. The woman in my profile picture is airbrushed anyway so no of course I wont look like her, but without actually…
-
For me, I have both knees which require key hole surgery and I chose the alternative to build them up instead to try and make them better. This means no running, weights, jogging etc (basically anything that puts pressure on the knees) so I have a step up to build up the strength in them but obviously these things take…

Thank you for this, at least I know there are doctors out there that don't consider it unhealthy. Well done for your loss, hopefully i'll hit my goal as well!

My friend at work is on the Dukan Diet, she lost 8lbs in the attack phase (she did attack for 10 days) and so far now she has lost 3 stone 3lbs on the cruize phase. It is a diet which will work for you if you like meat and you plan to adjust to a lifestyle change and not just a diet to keep it off x
-
What kind of exercise do you do and how long for each day? Wow for Sundays! If I ate that much i'd be the size of a baby seal!
-
What foods do you find the most sodium in? I havent heard of watching this before so maybe it's something I can look in to.
-
I've got two :)
-
Thanks Kat. I have other motivation pics, that's just my fav! How much have you been able to lose being on 1200kcals and walking?
-
Hi, thank you for your quick reply! No the girl isnt me (I wish it was!), the photo is my inspiration body and I'm not really sure who she is or how she has got to that point. Did you lose weight more quickly by having your lower amount of kcals or by upping them and exercising? x
-
Thank you, this is some great advice and I will have to check out that book. Like you said, for my height I feel that 1200kcals is more than enough. I think the protein is what I need to look into a bit more and less carbs to shed these last 10lbs. Good luck in losing your last bit too :) x
