  • You can change how many carbs you want to take in. I'm not sure how many carbs Atkins allows you. I believe it's 20 for the first phase.

  • So I am not insulin resistant. But I was put on a 30gram of carbs diet for a week, then I can go up to 50 grams for the rest of the time. She told me 30 grams will give my body the extra push it needs to start losing again. So no fruit week for me. Yeah!! how exciting. Oh well it's just a week right!!

  • I eat one toast a day and it's from silver hills or ezekiel bread. I wonder if it has gluten, it's all sprouted grain so I'm not sure. I will read up on it. Thanks

  • Thank you all for taking the time to respond. I guess I will keep at it and hopefully get a breakthrough soon. Keeping my fingers crossed. And the scale thing is not a bad idea. I will go buy myself one.
