I lost around 30lbs before I met my trainer and it took me a year or so. Then I followed her plan and lost 30lbs in 3 months. Then it took me a year to lose the other 20lbs. I will try eating more fruit and see if that helps. This is my first week or being on a diet brake and I feel relieved already.

Thanks!!

Good idea!!
-
You are so right my thinking is not right. Time to refocus. Thanks
-
No she won't. Like you said I might just need a brake from the constant dieting and trying to lose weight. This week I am concentrating on only eating when I am hungry and eating what I want.
-
I think you are right I might need to add something sweet once a week or something like that

I can't take metformin it makes me throw up
-
I also suffer with a bad relationship with food and binge eating
-
I have talked about it but i think she just thinks i am not sticking to my plan. She never struggles with her eating so its hard to relate.

I have a trainer that does a meal and workout plan. Everything is measured with cups and weight. And I also write down what I eat everyday.
-
ok thanks I will try it
-
To be honest no I have never done that I just swing back and forth to my plan and then having full on cheats. How long should I be at maintenance for before going back?
-
I feel like I keep taking diet breaks with all those weeks of "cheating"

Thanks everyone. I'm starting to think with me I eat because I am bored. I know in the past replacing it with exercise helped. I like the idea of not eating back the calories you've burned. I will try that.
-
For me it's usually a mutual decision.
-
I have the opposite. I lost 35lbs and I still see myself as what I was before.

Try Lorna Vanderhaeghe products she can help you with fibroids. I highly recommend her.

I've recently started taking magnesium powder before bed and it helps me a lot. Also pay attention to your diet. No caffeine or irritants after noon. I also heard milk is actually worst then better when going to bed.

My side affects were similar to yours. I also had not being able to sleep, bacterial infections, total stressed and burnt out, always being sick. It took me 2 years that I was killing my body by not eating enough and working out too much. Live and learn I guess :)

I was able to get pregnant with PCOS. My naturopath said that your waist needs to be less than 34 inches, that is the waist size that a woman's hormones seem to regulate at, and she was right. Also you need to work out and do heavy lifting. Follow this website it will help you the amount of calories you need to eat to lose…

Great post. I always thought I should be 160 but after calculating my body fat % I was shocked to know I should only go no lower than 170. 180 is very comfortable for me. I feel that goal more attainable. Body fat% is key.
-
I'm 5'8 my goal weight is between 170-180. I've always been very muscular. So to think I can go any lower than that is for me not very healthy thinking.
-
I'm 5'8 and I leg pressed 600lbs but only once.

I have a friend like that to but we live 600km away so it's hard to keep in touch sometimes. But when ever we see each other it's like nothing has changed. Every one has their own life to live and some times it's hard to stay in touch. I don't think it has anything to do with how much she cares for you.

Replying to this post. lol Playing games on facebook.

I think we all feel that way sometimes. Some days I feel like I am one hot sexy mama and some days not so much. What worked for me to get my self esteem a little higher was that every time some one gives me a compliment I say Thank You. At first I never believed them but because I said Thank you so many times my brain is…

From my experience yes if you are not giving your body the proper nutrients and rest it deserves.
-
Yes but sometimes getting something that you really want would be better then getting crap you don't. My love life is complicated because I'm complicated. So maybe I should of wished for some magic happy pills lol

I want to eat all the xmas dessert and not gain a pound. I want to have enough money to buy me a xmas present this year and I want my love life to be simple. I don't think that is too much to ask for.

We are not buying anything for each other this year. We already have so many people too buy for. So buying for another person would just be an added pressure. We are going to enjoy each other and spend quality time together. Plus we always buy little things for each other trough out the year anyways. And it was my idea not…
