Thanks everyone! When I did my first 5k I hadn't done much running at all and just decided I was going to run 5k so I can see how the same sort of mindset applies. Thanks again!

Thanks for the encouragement! I've just signed up so hopefully I can manage it!
-
I'd like to join if possible! My goal would be 50 to start with :)
-
I usually go without (although I listen to something any other time I run) but I see plenty of other people with headphones on.

I've just got one of those really tiny mini ones (I think it has a dry capacity of 150ml) so (after we melted one and bought a new one :/) we just did it in bursts of about 2-3 minutes at a time. I've not tried roasting the nuts first; I will definitely give that a go!

No worries. It'll go powdery at first but just leave it in there and it will eventually become almond butter :)
-
If you get almonds and put just them in a food processor for long enough (maybe 10-15 minutes depending on how powerful it is), the natural oils will come out and you will have almond butter! Then the nutrition would just be the same as almonds :)

It was just from a local Chinese grocery store but I was trying to find one for a friend recently and came across the same one at a couple of places online. Just type 'lucky cat mug' into Google :)
-
My lucky cat mug? It always makes me smile :D

Welcome to add me too :) I usually have 3 meals and 2 snacks (although I've been having less snacks the past week) and would love to get ideas from others!

Unfortunately, if the item you're scanning doesn't have an exact match it'll just show you something similar which doesn't necessarily have the same nutritional info. It seems a lot of the time whatever I'm looking for is actually in the database but just doesn't come up when I scan. I'd still double check things you're…

Me too!

I'm on day 20 of the Whole30 which is more or less the same thing.. I know I have problems with dairy and gluten but they are both tasty and my diet is quite heavily reliant on them so I still eat them and just live with the consequences. I took on the challenge as a way to learn to not rely on these things as diet staples…

I vote #6 or #3. I also work really early and will never be able to get in early workouts so that challenge is impossible for me!
-
I'd like to sign up for future challenges! Age: 22 Height: 5 ft 5 Starting weight: 205 Current weight: 159 Goal weight: 130ish maybe?

Thanks for the info! Does anyone know if it's accurate for running?
-
Same.. I could use some motivation to up my water :)
-
You could try a piece of fruit or some sweet tea (like red berry) or maybe something like coconut butter (not the oil.. the stuff that's like peanut butter only coconut)? But to be honest, I doubt there's much you can do... I just cut sugar out of my diet last week and went through 3 days of terrible headaches and nausea.…

I have a 3G and MFP works on it perfectly fine? Well, slowly... but otherwise fine.

Anyone?

Thanks for the suggestions! Are they any good mashed? What other veg do they go well with (for hot meals)?
-
I've just discovered that if I whisk 4 eggs and then add half an onion, 1 tomato and a hand full of spinach, pour in to a cupcake tin and bake at 180 for 20ish minutes (until the tops are golden) I get 6 super tasty breakfast quiche/muffin things that are good hot or cold and only 67 calories each (including the olive oil…

I'm mostly vegetarian but I just started eating seafood again (although not all that often). Anyone feel free to add me :)
-
I almost always lose more than MFP predicts (and I've been at this since May) :)
-
That's brilliant! I will definitely need to try that!
-
My partner and I usually go out for coffee or to a nice tea house to treat ourselves or celebrate things now (used to be restaurants and pubs!) :)
-
Almost all Kelloggs cereals contain gluten (including rice krispies and corn flakes) with one exception being Rice Krispies Multigrain Shapes... and they are delicious! I also eat Jordans granola. And you should definitely check out Genius bread/rolls/pita (http://www.geniusglutenfree.com/). I also love DS crispbread and…

If it is wheat you're avoiding, rather than just bread, Genius do great wheat/gluten free bread (I particularly like the seeded loaf and the white loaf) and seem to be sold in most Sainsburys/Tescos/Morrisons (except the really tiny ones). They also do really nice rolls and pita. I feel much better after just switching :)…

Yes! At one point I decided to weigh weekly but I couldn't not step on it so I stood outside while my other half hid it somewhere in the house and he only gave it back to me a week later. For the first few days I thought about it but after that I just didn't focus on the numbers so much :)

Thank yoooouuuu!
