Thank you for this information!!

When your body starts consuming muscle for energy your body odor will change. You will smell like straight ammonia. When your body consumes muscle it will change your breath. Your breath will smell like some type of chemical. It is a really horrible smell that alerts you that something is really wrong. Your sweat will be…

In other words it boiled down simply to: calories.

Raw vegan add specific dairy. That's been around for a long time now. I like meat. Unfortunately, I like meat. I eat meat. Some people eat meat and lose lots of weight and become healthy. So now I can't eat meat and be healthy? Just some people can, but not me? Oh.. this is just all too much for me to believe.

I used to hang out with a very bad crowd. I was the only one that had money, and I didn't want to be mooched off of. So before I would go hang out with the gang, I would stop by McD's and get one super sized mega big whatever meal and that was all I would eat for the whole day because if I was around them and I was…

Amazing!

I just tried Blue Bunny Bordeaux Chocolate Cherry frozen yogurt. It was superb! 1/2 of a cup was 120 calories!!! I put it over sliced bananas, omg! YUm!

This gives me hope and is also helpful to me. I used to do LOTS of weight lifting and training. I was NEVER thin, or sculpted probably because my mom thought to feed me exclusively ice cream, pizza, and dr. pepper until I was old enough to realize that wasn't right.. I worked out with a trainer that I also worked with and…

That's right! It's just that my heart rate doesn't go up, so I am not counting it as official exercise. Yes, I don't get to sit for any long periods of time. And as for the muslin, I'm going to go to the fabrics store a.s.a.p. for that. I had one that was some type of very light jersey with tiny holes all in it, but after…

I understand. And I think I might need some of that espresso. I'm over here in the got to get it going groove for today.
-
I'm trying to get to that 200 mark also!! I need to get to at least, AT LEAST.. 175. And since I am 234, I have a lot to lose.
-
It's okay. I know what you mean. LOL! Sorry, I wasn't trying to start anything bad. I do have a place that I can put the baby down for a second if I *REALLY* have to, but I try not to because the other kids will come up by her and poke her in the face or try to pick her up and stuff. Just.. too many little kids at once,…

Definitely so! That is exactly right. When out for walks, they are very slow. But we still go. I just don't count that as exercise and I'm not logging it. In fact, I count that as sedentary.
-
Yes! That is what I was thinking. When I add the breastfeeding to my log it subtracts 500 calories. And with my 1800 calorie goal that would be 2300, which I am eating just under. So yah, you think I may be eating too much? I think maybe this is right.
-
Yes, I actually use a cloth that I tie "moby style." It's just really hot, so sometimes the baby doesn't handle it well. I'm immune to sweating and heat because I have lived in S.E. Louisiana all my life. It's been nearly 100 here every day, so we have been going to the mall and walking. Everyone who is mentioning that I…

Woo HOo! Thanks for the link. That is great because I don't have a dvd player on my t.v.!
-
Thanks for looking at my diary. I have calcium supplements that I take every third day. I'm really big on whole food vitamins. I never forget my prenatal or omegas either. Also, I have been subtracting my 500 for breastfeeding so if I include that I am setting a 2300 calorie goal and eating just under it. Maybe I should…

"Eat as little as you can get away with, and try to exercise more." Really???
-
I wanted to reply to this because I have been wracking my brains trying to figure out what had happened to me. I was 245lbs and obese. I changed lifestyle (moved out) and started eating one super sized McD meal per day. I was hungry, but I lost 45 lbs pretty fast. I gained back only 25lbs. I started working at a…

children, no support network. End.

I was told that all fast food was bad. *sarcasm* I was also told that it has secret hidden mystery ingredients. I was told that I eat junk because it's fast food. (I had a chickfila chargrilled garden salad with 1 tbsp of ff dressing today, oh the horror)
-
I'm going to go set my lifestyle meter to the one above sedentary. I' m not actually sedentary because I do a lot of moving. It's just not formal exercise. That way it will be less of a calorie deficit. <Deep breath> I'm not hungry so I guess that's a good sign.
-
Jeez, so I'm eating 1820 a day, breastfeeding, and I'm losing slowly. But because I am not eating MORE, the weight that I am losing is all muscle. Great! So maybe I should just go back to my old routine of eating a LOT of healthy food and maintaining mostly and gaining occasionally. I would rather be fat and have muscles…

The thing about the restaurant food is that it was made with the same ingredients that I could get at the store. So what is the difference between me buying some steak and some peppers and sauteing it at my house, and the restaurant doing it? I was in the kitchen, there were no different ingredients placed in my food then…
-
LOL!! Sorry didn't realize!!
-
Yeah, I wasn't trying to become an athlete. I couldn't understand the whole, you burned your adrenals thing. So you think it was the food. Okay. I am working on that. Thanks for the insight.

Here ya go: 3 years of healthy living consistent 7 days a week/2 hours day at the gym cardio + weights, master's classes, pilates- 20 miles running/wk 5000 stair/day (always) trainer to help who was a friend who I trained without outside of my routine working at a restaurant 50+ hours a week very little meals, no sugar…

I know right! If eat more, weigh less worked for me, I wouldn't even be here right now.

So wait, The other day I ate 1,189 calories. My scale still moved down. Did I melt my muscles by not eating enough calories? Or did my metabolism go down? Still confused. I'm 5'10" and 233lbs.
