HELLO! Well first "month" has come to a close! It is technically still January but new challenge month has BEGUN! I don't want to step on your toes Mimi, since you are the starter of this group but it is Monday and I am a bit antsy to set some goal for myself  I think I will set a new challenge for myself each…

2007 Nissan Versa Hatchback On the snowy days I grab my SO's 06 Ford Explorer....which is my favorite car to drive anyways. My old number one favorite was his 2000 Ford mustang GT(yellow with black racing stripes  I miss that thing) but he sold ~6 months ago when he got another truck, 2011 Chevy Tahoe. So now we have…

Oh boy. Feel free to friend me dear. I am 100% an emotional/stress eater. G-d forbid I don't feel in control of my day/life...because edible things beware. I turn into an ENDLESS pit. For me it's not as simple as calories in & calories burned....it's healthy eating, exercise and facing my daily stresses and problems…

I alternate day & night shifts. Twice a week I work 8am-8pm, then I work midnight-8am twice more...off for three days. My diary is set up in time slots: 8am-noon noon-4pm 4pm-8pm 8pm-midnight midnight-4am 4am-8am I eat "normally during dayshifts and days off. On the day OF my overnight shift, I sleep late, have breakfast…

:noway: Bullsh!t. See that really does bother me because not only are they RIPPING us off, it leaves the question of the accuracy of their portion sizes!

January IS coming to a close. SO I guess Monday is week 1 day 2 of the "new" month? I'm sick with a sinus infection and broncchitis right now so Im eating at maintenance through the weekend and I will see how Im feeling Monday. I "broke" through the Plateau and dropped to 136 (yay) so I think that will be my ending weight…

I work daytime 12s and 8hr overnights. I shift meals as much as I can but my day ends when I go to sleep not when the clock strikes midnight. So I log the previous day even if its 5 am the next day :-)

Giants game this past Sunday...like half a box of wheat thins with sharp cheddar....and dug into a spread of calamari, fish sticks & french fries with the s/o Then we busted open the oreos....I had 2 double stuff and 3 white fudge. That's 440 calories in cookies alone. The End. Monday was a new day

Cheat Meals? OH YES. Usually when the bf & I go out to a nice dinner (every two-three weeks)...I mean I'm not going to have a damn salad  I'll go for the nicely glazed salmon or other seafood and split a dessert. Or when we both get home from work, exhausted and veg out on the couch with a giant pizza …

     So funny. So true for me as well....like a well trained dog, I wobble, do tricks, roll over and beg for my treats. OREOS WHERE> Personally I prefer the BK. They have veggie burgers and much tastier (AND BIGGER) fish sandwiches than the golden arches counterpart. (Pescaterian alert!)

Amazing....and to think I almost came to terms with being able to have cheesecake once a year (Christmas). My mother's cheesecake packs in 370 calories for 1/16 (a damn sliver!)...my altered recipe is still a whopping 300 but for a larger 1/8 of the cake. This however...heavenly. I'm absolutely trying my hand at this next…

2-3 times a week I am up for OVER 20 hours (sometimes a full 24) and other days I'm up for an average of 16 hours...I try to eat ~1500 NET regardless of how much sleep I get, however.... Logically if you're awake longer, you're moving around more & burning more calories. I did a trial & error with this. Eating a bit more…

So this week went a lot better than week 2...except for Sunday. Traditionally weekends have always been very difficult, especially Sundays. Went over on my calories, but still under for the entire week so I’m somewhat pleased....My workouts don’t seem to be the problem. For the most part, my food is good too....even my…

UGH I HEAR YOU on that. I was so good all week and than Sunday was a hysterical mess. I mean...I ate like 3000 calories...Everything was on point until the Giants game... then it was fried food & cookies SMH. I felt so GROSS and bloated. I weighed myself sunay morning so Im using that weight. NEW DAY NEW WEEK WIMBERLY :-)

DEF switch to 0.5 loss per week and eat your exercise calories back for a week or so and then switch to full maintenance and tone. You dont want to all of a sudden go into maintenance because it might be psychologically screwey to be eating more lol.

Im so happy I could cry. A health food store that is a 2 minute drive from carries this!! HOLY CRAP
-
I dont care how far I drive to get my hands on this! YUM! I'm a huge ice cream lover. TY!

MFP protein is set a little low IMO as well. I try to eat 80g-100g a day (depending on how much active I was)

SMH Orlistat does not block ALL the fat. You're suppose to eat fat as your body needs it. It is advised that you eat a LOW FAT diet with this pill in which turn you will not get the adverse side effects. If you go over the recommended (by the pill) amount of fat at each meal then you will be poopin it out. Hence it's…

I agree that it really depends on your preference....I persnally do Zumba, Spin classes, regular treadmill/elliptical and cardio kickboxing classes. Zumba is fun, energetic and helps you burn up those calories (as long as you let loose and put effort in, obviously, as anything else if you half @ss it you wont get the burn)…

Hello Ladies! You're all doing absolutely great! Its so motivating to read up how everyone is exercising! We all have rough days and we all hop back on our 'healthy' train! As hard as I've been working this week I am hoping to see some kind of loss after this week but with not feeling 100% I have a feeling my body is just…

i love Mon's Cuisine (all vegetarian) My favorite is the spaghetti & 'meatballs'....360 calories for the entree; 54 g of carbs (9g of fiber, 8g of sugar), 440mg of sodium & a WHOPPING 29 of protein. I think its more than decent for a frozen meat-free entree...and it tastes d@mn good

Oh I definitely do. Not every day of course, usually I balance it out but when I know I'm going out to eat or in the mood for pasta or something a bit calorie heavy for dinner I def cut back....

Kefir is AMAZING I personally love the Lifeway brand. Great probiotic, lactose & gluten free. Many flavors many uses. I use plain in protein smoothies. Add some to my oatmeal. Add it to yogurt and fruit.....DRINK IT STRAIGHT UP especially when I'm in a rush to get out the door and no time to eat....just down 16 oz of plain…
