  • I have to bow out of the challenge for a bit :-( Things are pure chaos at the moment, just a lot of general life things are are keeping me busy. I had to put logging aside. Which automatically leaves me out of the main part of this challenge. It's nice knowing I can still make healthy choices without weighing all the food…

  • @J: I'm glad you are doing whats best for YOU! Its easy to became enslaved to the scale and stuck on calories in and calories worked off. We will all be here for you! Im on the verge of TOM so the water weight is ON. I checked the scale on Friday and I packed on a little under 3 lbs during the trip and insanity at work.…
  • OOO I'm in for this month again! I want to hit 10,000 steps at least 10 times this month...I was usually around 8,000 or so in Feb. and managed to hit over 10,000 only 7 times. So this month I'm challenging myself to 10 times! here we go. I've been on OT at work this week...and it looks like it will pull like this through…
  • I'm back! So last time I weighed in was before I left for Florida I was 135.3... right now I wont be weighing in until maybe Monday. I guess that will be the start of the "new Month". I definitely had some goodies in FL, no regrets. I seem to have a problem on the day I come back from vacation and the day after...those…

  • I work a desk job....half my hours on overnights & the rest on day time...12-16 hour shift on top of that. I do munch a lot but the only things I pack with me are chopped fruit salad, almonds, oatmeal, greek yogurt. Special K crackers and special K chips are good too....or dry cereal.
  • Was running on fumes so I had no choice but stop at the nearest gas station... $4.11 per gallon. I put 5 bucks in and drove my @ss to Costco. $3.34 per gallon. It was a 10 minute drive but I was literally....ON FUMES. I live in NY. About 30 miles outside of Manhattan hence when the prices are up...they're 'roidal in my area
  • Yay for me! Helped me with Psoriosis (no medication ever helped much) & SAD. I keep it minimal....once a month right when it starts to get dreary with seasonal changes. Plus, I ALWAYS get a good base (about three tans or so) before a tropical vacation. Prevents me from getting burned up. I went to Cabo San Lucas last year…
  • Happy with the drop this week! As I said in my previous post...the fitbit helped me realize how much more active I am than I've thought....it also motivates me to keep in motion. I've overall been eating more of my exercise calories back and I guess it's working :flowerforyou: being off the antibiotics helps too! Weight…

  • @Joy...I was definitely having some water weight issues the previous week as well. I'm glad to hear you are finding all of us helpful...I definitely owe a lot to this group & my MFP pals as well. I am SO sorry again about your loss. Keeping you in my prayers still. I have the hardest time with death & loss. @Wimberly...I…

  • I watch the show for entertainment. That's it. With regards to CLA and L-Carnitine. I've taken both. CLA is pretty good, def helps focus burns in the abdomen but it made my face break out like CRAZY. Those deep angry red inset blemishes :grumble: I stopped taking it after 4 weeks and face immediately cleared up. I still…

  • 1. I have an incredible weakness for shoes. My boyfriend claims it is humanly impossible to fit another shoe box in our closet....I disagree. 2. I sleepwalk sometimes. When I do, I tend to move furniture (chairs, small tables) and I rearrange smaller items. 3. Prior to college, I have never attended a school for more than…
  • Which type of hypoglycemia do you have? Reactive or Fasting? I'm a little of both really....worse on fasting. Reactive to selective simple carbs & sugars. I use to have the same problem but I'd faint first thing in the morning from my blood sugar being so low. I'd pop glucose pills just to get me into the kitchen for…

  • @ Maria. WOW 8 lbs since we started. You are doing awesome. Boredom eating is definitely a culprit for me. That's another reason I keep my food diary broken up into 4 hour slots (besides a nutty work schedule)...If I'm having a decent meal, there's no need for me to be munching within that 4 hour window. I tell myself to…
  • @Mimi...I'm not quite sure what the BF% was...I was still a C cup so that's an outlier & would def throw my % off  I haven't kept measurements or approximated my body fat percentage since the day I threw myself into a full-hearted attempt at recovery. I think I am healthy enough & definetaly ready to start doing so.…

  • I'm tipping at a near 5'8". I just changed my goal up to 128 but I think I'll be bumping it up to 130 since I want to tone up and would rather love a bit more muscle. I tend to carry my weight in my tush and boobs (hence, even at this weight I am a 34DD :noway: ) I catch a LOT of slack on here when I reveal how tall I am.…
  • Alright here we go. I am in the middle of TOM but I still weighed in today. After last weeks weigh in my numbers JUMPED UP the next few days  Between the antibiotics & painkillers and etc I think my body was a MESS. Anyways I am down to 137.0 which is awesome even though it's 0.2 higher than my last weight but I KNOW…
  • I feel your pain. With PMS & during TOM I am ravenous. If I don't pay attention to what my hands are doing, they'll end up shoveling something in my mouth. I live with my boyfriend who, of course, has the ability to eat 3000 calories a day and maintain his weight. There are always DOUBLE Stuffed oreo cookies in the house,…

  • There's a couple of things that come to mind....my favorite by far was a long horseback ride on the beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. It was just us and our guide. :smooched:
