have you tried looking at food sites or recipes in magazines? I like to go to Barnes and noble book store and look at cook books for simple eating and cooking....sorry your having a time of it.

We had a late start, for the day, but I also know I need to get my cals in too, I have over 300 calores to work with but 7 for fat, was thinking a bowl of beans with chopped avocado but that goes over my fat intake...hmmm what to do.

pinto beans, lentils, split peas are all amazing little bull dozers as long as you add no fat to them, I make a pot of beans and add different seasoning to it through out the week, Mexican, Italian, curries...etc or rinse them and add to salad..... I like cabbage soup ,I like to add minced ginger. some soy sauce I am glad…

I love oatmeal too, with flaxseed meal or hemp seed or chia....not mushy, either, i like walnuts raisins, pecans what ever I have on hand, I blend it make oatmeal flour and pancakes with it so versatile too!

I am up to two minutes on it, my first time couldn't do a full minute but i get on try, stop and try again. But I can walk and jog for 3 miles no problem.....soon i hope to have increased, my goal is 10 minutes.

eggs good for you the yolk the best part, I love mine poached, on whole wheat dry toasted muffins or toast or rancheros, but in a restaurant i order egg white omelets.....not afraid of fats, just the bad kind.

before I workout or do swim, I put in leave in conditioner in my hair, or oil, just like the previous poster said on the ends, I have really thick hair wavy and long.

would be egg rolls , but I do make my own, but it is the aspect of being deep fried that makes it dirty....lol oh and fried corn tortillas for tacos..... and ...cold stone chocolate decadence, and the last one i had was about 8 months ago.... but most of my desserts are made from whole clean foods..... taste like decadence…

GMO'S are disturbing to me, and I do promote organic grown meat, chicken etc, I also enjoy sprouts raw and cooked of all kinds of grains.

I use plain greek yogurt, with salsa makes a wonderful dip, also in place of mayo in tuna sandwiches, and in recipes, for liquid./with fruit etc in smoothies and just like sour cream on baked potatoes and on Mexican food.

Pointing out your spouses flaws and calling him names...... That is lighten up, on a public form. I agree with these previous posters, I would be deeply ashamed of myself for throwing my husband under the bus for others to judge and to justify my position. I use it like I do spinach, cut the vein out chop it , saute it, add to ommlettes, stir frys, steam cook it toss it with sesame oil, add cooked kale to my hummus with roasted pepper and garlic.

I like my large curd 4% cottage cheese on toast, with a spoonfull of chia and one of hemp seeds, for protein and omegas 3 and 6 good stuff, sometimes chopped spinach with nutmeg....
