Ladies! As I've began working out regularly and increasing the intensity day by day, consequently I've had to wash my hair a LOT more than usual. Its began to dry out a lot... any tips or advice??
Much appreciated!

Co-washing! It's when you wash your hair using conditioner only. Might sound weird/gross but your hair gets just as clean and more importantly keeps the moisture in so it doesn't dry out.
No matter that your hair type is, it's not good to shampoo your hair every single day especially if the shampoo contains a detergent called sulfates (which is in MOST shampoos and it's also found in industrial cleaners).
Another tip is to put some natural oil (extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil etc;) on your hair especially focusing the ends becuase they are the oldest part of your hair and therefore prone to breakage and drying out. Applying oil or conditioner before shampooing acts as a barrier from the sulfates and also conditions your hair.0 -
before I workout or do swim, I put in leave in conditioner in my hair, or oil, just like the previous poster said on the ends, I have really thick hair wavy and long.0

I "wash" with conditioner every other day as well. I also tend to workout at night so I'll just do a body shower and skip the hair, then worry about hair the next day for work. That way I can stay fresh but not always wash my hair. Another thing you could try is the body wash thing, then just use a dry shampoo on your hair - I've not tried these before but I assume it's less drying to your hair?0

I often just rinse my hair out to get the sweat out. Only use shampoo once or twice a week.0

I was my hair every second third day. The first day I use a dry shampoo. The second day I wear my hair up. If it's a must only wash your roots. And be sure to use sulphate free shampoo, it's much healthier for your hair and doesn't dry it out. I also do a weekly hair treatment which has helped incredibly.0
