  • First do not eat back all the calories you burn. Then you are just wasting your time going to the gym. Remember if you use more calories than you take in you will lose weight and or inches. Its simple physics. I know you go to the gym, but what do you do there? If all you do is cardio then pretty much all your losing is…
  • Looking GREAT... Keep up the good work hun...
  • Dunno if I qualify. I like how I look :-)
  • Again thanks for the compliments. This is an awesome group of people on here. A couple of new small personal bests. I jogged 3 miles straight at 6.1 mph yesterday and then this morning did my usual 10 miles on the bike but at an average of 15 mph instead of my normal 13.5. Now that I have done both of those I cannot go…
  • Way to go. Thats alot to lose I know its hard. Keep up the good work!!!!!
  • Thanks to all for your kind words. It took me a year to do it. I did backslide when my wife was hurt, I was doing alot of running around and fast food was the easiest thing.. etc etc. No excuse I know.. lol I have before and after pictures on my profile :-)
  • OK Silly question what are TDEEs?
  • I drink what I consider alot of water, I do not do alot of any kind of soda diet or other wise, like maybe 1 soda made with spenda a week. I changed my goals now MFF has me at 1690 a day. Should I do that and not eat my excersise calories?
  • Morning is usually fruit and coffee no sugar 1 creamer. Lunch is almost always a Jimmy Johns unwich of some kind then a normal dinner keeping with the low fat idea... Except when I go out for chinese or hotwings... I just eat ALOT less of that than I used to. Frank
  • TYVM for the compliment. It was my friends and the people on here who helped me so much. I Was talking to my Chiropractor a little bit ago about basically the same thing as this post. He said do alot of situps and crunches to build up my mid section muscle. That will help burn the fat in the mid section better than legs…
  • Its cheaper to just eat less and go for a good walk every day and get the same or better results. Good luck with your diet plan no matter what you choose. I hope it works for you.
  • Congrats.. What an amazing weight loss and way to stay with it. I know its hard sometimes, ok alot of the time. Glad to see you stuck with it.
  • That is absolutly AWESOME. Congrats.. What an amazing story. An inspiration to everyone Thank you.
  • I am from the south.. I say it all the time.. its second nature to me. If the lady gets a weird look on her face I make an effort not to say it to her again.
  • WTG. So happy to see people working hard to better themselves. This site is such an inspiration to me. I stopped looking at the BMI. I have built muscle while losing fat. I am still in the obese catagory because of my weight but my Dr parades me around the office every time I go in because she is so happy for me. I said…
  • I still eat what I like just alot less of it, I am also alot smarter about the brands of what I eat.. I figure out which ones have less fat less sugar etc etc in them. Instead of 25 hot wings like I used to eat I eat 10. Instead of drowning the veggies in ranch I get one small portion cup for the celery and dip the carrots…
  • You are welcome to add me if you like. Keep your head held high and when you can't remember God is always there to help you when it starts to drop.
  • These are GREAT motivations, I want to see more.
  • I started out over 300 lbs. Feel free to add me.
  • A photo shoot, because I was never comfortable taking pictures before.
  • 84 lbs gone. I feel so damn good. I want to thank my beautiful wife for her encouragement. I also want to thank my good friends Tony and Debbie for their support. Without all of you this would not have been possible.
  • Holy hell I think I gained 5 lbs just looking at that picture.
  • This is awesome advice. The way I look at it is this. It took me 38 years to make my body what it is. I cannot expect to make it what I want in a few weeks.

  • First thing is welcome to the losers club.. lol. I guess the trick for me was wanting to lose the weight. I mean really wanting to. Its hard as hell at first, but after awhile it will become second nature. All my co-workers and friends are asking me how many calories in this or in that.. or can you have this or that. I…

  • A little update. Got on the scale this morning for kicks and grins. There was more good loss, so I tried on my "goal" T-shirt and it fits. Its not tight in the middle even though I still have a gut. I do not feel as if I have to stretch it out to wear it. My back has stopped hurting as much since I lost weight. I have lost…
  • Thanks for the kind words.
  • Its not wrong in the slightest to care about someone else's well being. That dude you tried to help is too self centered to need anyones help and its his loss. I help any time I can and it always comes back around to me somehow.
  • TYVM and request sent.
