I take all my chocolate gifts to work and let my coworkers share in the calories! Means I can graze occasionally if I feel like it.

Delicious pie.

Some things I do to help me through weekends: 1) Always log, even if you go way overboard. 2) Minimize junk food in the house. At least always have healthy alternatives for yourself even if everyone else isn't buying in to health eating, i.e. when the grab a cookie, you grab an apple. 3) When you go out to eat, take 5…

Beer. Cut down from 3 bottles a day to perhaps 3 a week. Probably a good thing, but I really miss it. Try having a kid, you wont have any time for anything.

How could I forget Voltron! I liked both versions.

As an Aussie living in Canada, I will assume that this individual was clearly not prepared for the "differences" encountered between "north american" culture and that seen in the UK & to a degree Australia.

Fish is also a great source of protein and typically lower in calories than land based foods.

As long as you're lifting a decent amount of weight, and not too much of a deficit (TDEE - 20%) your results should be awesome - but take measurements with a goal to look at body fat % rather than weight alone.

Always in the morning, after bathroom but before shower. Never any more frequently than once a week. I know my exercise & diet is working, so the scale for me is more about knowing when to adjust calorie intake more than anything else. A number to enter into a calculation.

Lots of pita places around too which can also be great choices. But Subway with lots of veggies will keep you going!

I've never stepped foot in a gym and I hope I never have to. I use body weight workouts, dumbbells & a pull up bar in my basement to get my workouts done. I'm always keen for like minded friends to support & get new exercise ideas from. Feel free to send me a request!

I'd recommend start measuring body fat % and forget weight alone as your way of measuring success.

On your comments about being too thin. I didn't have a large amount of weight to lose, about 25 pounds or do. When I got close to my goal, a lot of people were saying I was too thin. Mostly in-laws. Now they have got used to how I look, they see old photos and comment how much better I look now. Sometimes it takes people a…

For me it was after 20 pounds and when I got nicer fitting clothes - larger clothes really mask excess weight as much as their hide its loss.

Push-ups, plank, squats, lunge, variations of those with dumbbells. Dumbbell squats too. Pull ups too but you've obviously got to have a bar for that. Burpees too.

Great work. My one hour snow shoveling efforts today show up as 440 calories burned, I'm happy with that!

My stocking is usually stuff with things like deodorant, razor blades, tooth paste & brushes & chocolates. What I would like to see is gadgets, beer, and possibly a beer related gadget. If he plays video games, a special edition controller of choice is a good idea. I also don't mind t-shirts with funny/original stuff on…

As a gadget guy myself, the most important pieces that are overlooked are: 1) How will be my go-to person for help with the phone. If its itunes craping its pants or an android app crash. 2) What do my friends use? We're already seeing things with the S3 that allow "tap" features, i.e. tap two of the same phones together…

I make sure I know the nutritional value of anything before it goes in the food-hole.
