There are many successful people on MFP. Perhaps it would be easier to limit it down to what type of eating plan you are into and find people who successfully lost/maintained doing the same thing? Feel free to add me even if you do not follow Paleo or Ketogenic because I have done vegetarian, vegan, simply no simple carb,…

I've been around the same weight for 15 months!

I love your positive energy! Weight loss is certainly possible with the right combination of exercise, sleep, and food planning. The tough part is FINDING what works for YOU and your health issues. Feel free to add me as I do know what it is like to lose 100+ lbs on my own. Lisa

I received MORE romantic attention when living in the Washington D.C area at a size 22/24 than at my current 8/10 in Pennsylvania. How about them apples?! Have you tried online dating? Perhaps you need to find a site that reflects your goals and interests when searching for a mate. Best of luck to you! Lisa

Regardless of however you choose to eat whether be vegan, vegetarian, paleo, standard American, fruitarian,etc... losing weight is possible with some dedication, exercise, and food planning. Feel free to add me as well! :-)

I am doing Keto in a way that follow Paleo exactly except one thing-real butter (unsalted, grass-fed butter though!). I do not ever eat bacon for breakfast. You could easily do eggs with veggies, making your own paleo breakfast bars for on the go or your own paleo cereal with nuts, seeds, almond flour, etc... or eat…

Do whatever works for you! I have 3 meals a day and eat more in the morning to fuel the hectic day so I can somewhat relate. I exercise 6 days a week, but nothing too strenuous.

Thanks for the add! Do you crock-pot at all? I have some great recipes that I recently have tried. Cannot wait to see your food tracking!

I LOVE the quote you have posted, ROFL. Congrats!

Are you ladies still sticking to Paleo? I am mostly "paleo" at the moment, but plan on doing Whole30 for at least the month of September.
-
That's wonderful to hear! No need to rush on the last couple pounds since this is a new lifestyle, not a fad diet! :-)

When I took soy out of my diet, I started to get regular periods for the first time in my life. I currently drink rice, almond. and coconut milk instead. Soy truly does mess with your estrogen levels!

I'm not sure what struggles you faced in your life regarding self esteem/harm/negative issues, but I hope you find supportive people here on MFP if you do not find any in daily life. You did not come across as socially awkward since you did make the post so I congratulate you on the ability to reach out to others without…

To tell you the truth, it really bothers me when people only say "Good job" or "WTG"... I'd like to be called out on any issues I would have in my food diary and for people to actually offer advice when I ask about weight lifting issues. Sure it is nice to say nice little comments here and there, but it is overall not very…

Your progress is so beautiful... almost made me tear up! Congrats :-)

We are all going to have some rough patches such as stress, not enough time to cook, stuck in a social setting where there is not many healthy foods to pick from, etc... but we have to do the best we can and then move back onto our plans hardcore when we are back in a position where we have total control over what we eat,…

Congrats! Awesome feeling to have a visible difference in the weight loss department. :-)

I eat 2-4 a day and still lose weight so it depends on your body chemistry.

You are right in the fact that some people lose tons of weight and it is not always in a healthy manner. I started out my first 3 months of dieting by simply cutting out meat and soda and lost around 60 lbs... I was probably eating around 1800 calories a day which was sadly a HUGE reduction from what I used to eat...keep…

Not everyday wil be a success and there will be times where the scale goes up, but you need to remind yourself why you are choosing to exercise, eat more healthy, and watch the amount of calories you consume on a daily basis. Losing weight can take a lot of discipline, but it does get better! Hang in there.

Takes courage to post pictures like these ones. Congrats for you!! :-)

Oh wow, I have never been a smoker so I cannot personally relate, yet I have seen others quit an gain 20lbs so excellent job!
-
What an excellent success. You look great, but more importantly, you look more confident!
-
Amazing! I wish I even had your before picture. Bet you are going to make a lot of ladies envious this summer!

When I was over 220ish pounds I felt it was easy to lose weight without much exercise, but it will probably hit you right around the 200 lbs mark where you won't get much result wise without it! I love your honesty about video games and show watching...funny how I watch more shows now than I did when obese... having plenty…

That is strange... I am also 5ft5, but I weigh 154...nobody believes I weigh 154 lbs though (people usually guess 140ish) since I can wear a size 8 in jeans.

I used to do monthly Facebook posts with a picture of the scale to keep myself accountable which very much so motivated me. Good luck on your weight loss journey!
-
Congrats on your progress! Are you exercising as well? I barely ever eat anything pizza wise although I LOVE pizza... barely eat anything dairy since my change of lifestyle actually so you're lucky in some sense to be able to eat junk...fruit and veggies taste so much better to me now though! I'm 129.6 lbs down and seeing…

I went from a 9 1/4 ring size down to 6 3/4 for wedding band size...wish I had taken a fat hand picture at the beginning.

You look beautiful!
